(5) GOALS/OBJECTIVES:

This project aims to achieve the following:

A. To promote Nutrition Month through school-based activity to promote learners’ awareness of proper
nutrition.

B. To enhance the skills of the student in different competitions related to nutrition

TLE and MAPEH Departments

Nutrition Month is an important initiative aimed at promoting healthy eating habits and raising awareness
about the significance of nutrition in our daily lives. According to the National Nutrition Council or NCC, this year’s
celebration theme is “Sa PPAN: Sama-sama sa Nutrisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat!” (“Through PPAN, let’s collaborate on
nutrition security for all! “) This proposal outlines a plan to celebrate Nutrition Month with various activities and
events. Such as poster-making and essay-writing contests where the students could exhibit their skills and talents
through drawing and by writing an essay which accords with the theme of Nutrition Month. Another proposed activity
is the fruits and vegetables display contest for each class where they can showcase their skills in organizing vegetables
and fruits in creative ways that could capture the viewer's eyes and appetite.
The simple activity and culminating are expected to start at exactly 1:00 in the afternoon. The TLE and MAPEH
teachers are in charge of the whole program that raise awareness about the importance of nutrition in maintaining
overall health and well-being and enhancing skills of the students in different competitions related to nutrition.
