It is given that the probability of a police cadet member chosen at random from the

(i) all the 8 members have the mass less than 61 kg,
(ii) at most 6 members have the mass less than 61 kg.

13. A factory produces guava juice and watermelon juice. Due to limitation on
production capacity, the factory can produce at most 180 packs of juice in a day.
The number of packs of watermelon juice produced exceeds the number of packs of
guava juice is less than 60 packs. The demand for the number of packs of

watermelon juice is at least of the number of packs of guava juice.

(a) In a day, the factory produces x packs of guava juice and y packs of
watermelon juice.
Write three inequalities other than x ≥ 0 and y ≥ 0 that satisfy all the above
constraints.

(a) (i) Given that the price index of ingredient P for the year 2021 based on the
year 2019 is 130, find the value of z .
(ii) The price index of ingredient Q for the year 2021 based on the year 2019
is 140.
The price per kg of ingredients Q in the year 2019 is RM6 less than its
corresponding price in the year 2021. Calculate the value of x and of y .

(b) Given that the composite index to produce the biscuit for the year 2021 based

(c) The price of the biscuit in the year 2019 is RM40. The prices of all the
