Why do we need to conduct

earthquake drills in schools?

To prepare the staff and students with the necessary knowledge of

how to react immediately and appropriately when an earthquake
strikes. This significantly reduces accidents and loss of lives.

• It should be conducted frequently.

• TAKEN SERIOUSLY.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

“Maglinog-linog man, dili

man lage e-excute nato ang
earthquake drill dayun?”

PRACTICAL ANSWER:
It depends on the
intensity of the
earthquake.
Starting at this
intensity, we
must perform
our EARTHQUAKE
DRILL.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

“Ma realize ba gyud ang earthquake drill if maglinog jud?”

PRACTICAL ANSWER:
Yes, but only if everyone is aware of the drill and SELF-
DISCIPLINE is present.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

“Sa ato drills, ang adviser permi naa sa iya section, what if mag
intensity 4 earthquake unya naa kos lain section nagtudlo?”

PRACTICAL ANSWER:
That's why we have to ensure that our drills are well-
established and flexible at the same time. So that we can still
perform our routines even if we are not in our respective
rooms/section.
