[NEW ADMISSION FOLLOWING NEP-2020]
INTRODUCTION:
1. A student opting to exit after completion of the first academic year (two
semesters) shall be awarded a UG Certificate, provided she/he has completed
40 credits with at least 5.0 grade points on the 10-point grading scale in each
course and semester
2. A student opting to exit after completion of the second academic year (four
semesters) being built on the one-year UG programme shall be awarded a UG
Diploma, provided she/he has completed 80 credits with at least 5.0 grade
points on the 10-point grading scale as per the minimum credit requirements
in each course and semester of the two-academic years.
3. In order to qualify for a 3-year Bachelor's degree in a Major Subject being
built on the two-year UG programme, a student shall be required to complete
120 credits with at least 5.0 grade points on the 10-point grading scale as per
the minimum credit requirements in each course and semester of three-
academic years.
4. In order to qualify for a 4-year Bachelor's degree (Honours) in a major subject
being built on the three-year Bachelor's degree, a student shall be required to
complete 160 credits with at least 5.0 grade points on the 10-point grading
scale as per the minimum credit requirements in each course and semester of
four-academic years. A student completing 160 credits with at least 5.0 grade
points on the 10-point grading scale, including research project/dissertation
of 12 credits, shall be awarded a 4-year Bachelor's degree (Honours with
Research).

Students opting to exit the programme after the first/second academic year shall be awarded a UG
Certificate/Diploma on production of a certificate from a recognized entity that they have also
completed one internship/vocational/apprenticeship/ community and service/field-based
learning/minor project of 4 credits (120 credit hours) within a maximum period of three years from
the date of admission.
** Important information
1. A Student opting for any of the Major Courses (except BTTM) will have to choose one Minor
Course mentioned below (Major & Minor Courses must be from two different subjects).
2. One Multi-Disciplinary Course (MDC), one Ability-Enhancement Course (AEC) and one Skill
Enhancement Course (SEC) are compulsory. A Student can choose any one from the lists given
below at a later stage after the commencement of classes.
3. Environmental Science as a Value Added Course (VAC) is compulsory for all students in the
First Semester.
