    PAIDINTERNSHIP SCHEME AT C-DOT

    Centre for Development of Telematics, a premier Telecom Technology R&D Centre of


    Govt. of India intends to engage interns, under its "Paid Internship Scheme' for which
    applications are invited from eligible Students from top 30 Engineering Institutes as
    per NIRF Ranking in India. The internship shall be at C-DOT campuses at
    Delhi/Bengaluru. The eligibility conditions applicable and other detals are as follows:

    Objective: The objective of this Paid Internship Program is to attract young talent
    from top 30 engineering institutes as per NIRF ranking for interning at C-DOT for R&D
    work. It will provide an opportunity to young scholars to contribute in the C-DOT Work
    and have an insight into the related technical work and possible future employment.

    Eligibility: Indian students from top 30 Engineering Institutes as per NIRF Ranking
    studying Computer Science or Electronics &Communication or equivalent branch
    relevant to C-DOT, pursuing the following courses shall be eligible to apply under this
    internship scheme:

    B.Tech BE Should have completed second year exams and results for the
    (EC/CS) same should have been declared.

    CGPAPercentage Minimum CGPA 7.0 out of 10 /70% or above in B. Tech/BE (As


    on last semester whose result has been declared)

    Note:

    Possessing minimum qualifications as above shall not guarantee Internship in


    C-DOT. Candidates having exposure in the area of intended internship with
    good academic background shall be given preference.

    Duration of Internship: The period of Internship shall be a minimum of three


    months and a maximum of one year. Interns not completing the minimum requisite
    period will not be issued any certificate. No-objection certificate (for the duration of
    internship) from the institute should be submitted by the candidate at the time of

    application. Acandidate can apply for internship only once during his/her course. This
    scheme also allows to complete a semester at C-DOT based on R&D work with
    supervision from both C-DOT and the Institute.

    Stipend Amount:
    (a) Interns shall be paid aconsolidated stipend of 50,000/- (Fifty Thousand Only)
    per month.

    (b) In addition tothe stipend,they will be allowed to use basic facilities like C-DOT
    canteen at subsidized rates.

    Vacancies. Total number of interns to be engaged shall be maximum 50


    interns per year. Interns shall be inducted twice each year from JulylAugust and
    December/January based on the requirements of C-DOT. Applications for the
    July/August batch should reach C-D0T by 31st May and for December/January batch
    should reach C-DOT by 31st Oct each year. However, for the batch Jul/Aug 24
    applications shall be accepted till 20th Aug 24.

    **Final \Vacancy position may vary and offer shall be issued based on Final Vacancy
    position at the time of Final Selection.

    Procedure to Apply Interested and eligible candidates must submit their


    applications along with their CVs, areas of work interest in the prescribed application
    form (available on C-DOT website) via email to ID: internship@cdot. in.

    The Subject of the mail for applicants applying for Delhi location should be:
    "Application for Paid Internship at C-DOT- Delhi Campus" and the applicants
    applying for Bengaluru location should be: : "Application for Paid Internship at
    C-DOT - Bengaluru Campus" Incomplete applications will be rejected
    summarily.
    While submittingthe application, the information should be filled correctly in respective
    fields and scanned copy of duly filled application form along with supporting
    documents should be sent as single file in PDF format with file name same as applicant
    name (maximum file size 10 MB). Applicants while sending application are requested
    to intimate period of availability to attend internship as allowed by their institutes.

    List/panel of shortlisted candidates for interview will be hosted on C-DOT Website and
    final offer letters, post selection,will be sent to selected candidates and their respective
    institutes through e-mail.
