    SN SUBJECT HOLIDAY HOMEWORK
    1. ENGLISH 1. Write a handwritten essay on A4 sized sheets(1000
    words)/poem/painting on any one of the following topics :
    a. ‘Culture as the unifying force for the modern world’
    b. Holistic Education for me means ...’
    2. PROJECT WORK :
    a. A handwritten report / essay /article on any socially relevant
    issue or based on a recent interview/ podcast / news item seen or
    heard of word limit 500 words on A4 sheets to be submitted as
    English project. Quote the source of report or mention the
    news/podcast/ interview that inspired the essay or article at the
    end of the write up.
    b. The sheets should be neatly arranged in a plastic folder.
    c. The folder should bear neatly typed name, class & section , roll
    number of the student in Times New Roman 18 font size .
    d. The project would be adjudged on the basis of originality,
    content related to real life events, accuracy of language and
    logical cohesion of ideas.
    e. The use of impressive vocabulary and proverbs/ idioms in the
    written work would be appreciated.
    f. Plagiarized compositions would not fetch favourable marks.
    g. Students are given liberty to choose any topic as long as it is
    socially relevant.
    8. Please keep in mind that on the same project you would have a
    VIVA VOCE exam in second term.
    h. One MS quiz comprising of 10 questions on any chapter/poem
    of the syllabus done till date to be made by each student.
    i. The form to be collaborated with your respective English teacher
    and the form would be adjudged on the ingenuity of questions and
    critical thinking applied.

    NCERT Textbook, NCERT Exemplar and Previous years
    CBSE questions.
    3. Complete all the assignments given in the class.
    4. Complete the Chemistry Investigatory project, based on
    the guidelines as discussed in the class
    4. MATHS 1. Revise all chapters done in the class for revision test from
    worksheets, NCERT and NCERT exemplar.
    2. Complete all the assignments given in the class.
    3. Write all five Mathematics activities in your practical
    notebooks.

    5. BIOLOGY 1. Revise and learn all the chapters done in class.
