MeCaPrime 10
Concrete penetrating sealer and primer

DESCRIPTION TECHNICAL DATA

MecaPrime 10 is a low viscosity, micronized fiber reinforced Performance / Property Results
sealer and primer designed to impart excellent adhesion Hardness ASTM D 2240 [Shore D] 80
to cold and damp concrete. MeCaPrime 10 offers very
good chemical resistance and is suitable as a base layer for Pull Off Adhesion ASTM D 4541 ≥ 4,900 psi (≥34 MPa)
chemical immersion service. MeCaPrime 10 incorporates Pull Off Adhesion (concrete) 400 psi (≥2.7 MPa)
optical fluorescing pigment that provides visual inspection X Cut Adhesion ASTM D 6677 Rating 10
to ensure proper film coverage and improves pinhole
detection of the primary topcoat. The surface finish resists Tensile Strength ASTM D 638 8,590 psi
amine blushing even when cured at cold temperature or Compressive Strength ASTM D 695 13,000 psi
high humidity. Suitable as a primer for MeCaCorr chemical Flexibility ASTM D 522 3” mandrel
resistant linings.
Flexural Strength ASTM D 790 ≥ 13,488 psi
Elongation 5%
