1. Differentiate stereotypes, prejudice and discrimination. Give an examples of each.
2. Look for any example platform , televisions or advertisement promoting stereotypes and prejudice. Print
this on a long bond paper. Write down an essay explaining why you think so and how to make this
advertisement more inclusive
I. The different between stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination.
 STEREOTYPES
Stereotyping is a standard of people or something that must be followed as it is said in language,
culture and society which is my subject in my major says here Society create stereotyping in term of
language where people need to be included in those stereotypes, so from the Subject in the gender and
society The language, culture and society because its connected to the society so in the stereotyping is
something deal with the standard of something like in specific stereotypes of being a woman and man.
Example the stereotypes in term of marriage is Men and women so there's no other gender would
include in that because it is the stereotypes a standard of marriage.

 PREJUDICE
The Prejudice based on what I said before here prejudice is an opinion and judgment of people based on
a stereotyping of a Group or community.
Example assuming a person's intelligence based on their race or ethnicity and African descent is a
common example of the prejudice.
 DISCRIMINATION
The discrimination is term of judgement for someone or group it is insulting someone because of the
different origin and the different stereotypes of a person.
Example A restaurant does not admit a guest because the person is a transwomen together with
transman, gay and disable person.
II. Similarities Of Stereotypes, Prejudice, And discrimination
The similarities of this three is creating society a standard for every aspect of the human living or how
we can present our self to the community like we need to be the stereotypes of being a Asian people because
we are Asian because people might prejudice use because on they beliefs so we will this discriminate so
these three create society more standard quality in positive and negative views.

IV. The analysis for the chosen advertisement promoting stereotypes, prejudice and
discrimination.
Based on the advertisement I choose which is the commercial of “Pantene” 10 YEARS ago who show
women rights because this commercial advertisement show the discrimination against women so I think this
promote the stereotypes, prejudice and discrimination how its work and show the awareness for this issues
that women faces its show the stereotypes what ever who you are embrace it don’t think other prejudice and
other who discriminate you its your own uniqueness as women.
Making this advertisement more inclusive is in the way of showing how important to have inclusivity
like no one gender will left out like make the world interconnected and not letting one out of the background
so this make more inclusive and promote the stereotypes, prejudice and discrimination awareness more
inclusive and more powerful than other.
