Instructional Philosophies and Classroom Management Policies

My goal is to provide you with the resources, tools and skills to effectively manage test anxiety, and
ultimately have the tools to perform better on exams. To achieve this goal we will be using a blend of
videos, articles, activity, discussion and assignments.

I want to support your learning in the best way possible and expect that you will create a respectful
learning environment for yourself and your colleagues. Please arrive to Zoom meetings on time.

I also request that you participate actively in group discussion activities. Your input is incredibly
important to the learning process. Your colleagues can learn from you, just as you can learn from them. I
encourage comments and questions. The discussion, assignments, and content covered in this course
require each student to reflect upon personal experience as it applies to the course topic.

Given the diversity that exists within our world, it is likely that individual values, beliefs, and worldviews
expressed in this class will vary. Students are expected to show respect for these differences. Students
are encouraged to engage in discussion and reflection with the intent of expanding personal awareness
and understanding of the differences that exist within a diverse classroom and society.
