About The Conference

The International Conference on Innovative, Sustainable Materials and Technologies

(ICISMT-2022) aims to bring together industrialists, academicians, and researchers to
exchange and share their experiences and hard-earned technological advancement and
application in modern construction industries. Growing concerns about sustainable, smart and
innovative materials have aroused interest in response to the critical issues on civil
engineering applications. Developing countries like India face a huge challenge in technology
upgradation and diversification of various construction industrial sectors. This conference
will serve an imminent avenue of improving sustainable construction and applications of
advanced materials to enable designers for developing better designs, also in-depth
understanding of these subjects. The theme of ICISMT–2022 focuses on the domain of
Sustainable Materials and Material Science, Innovative Material Technology, Smart
Materials and other emerging technologies.

All accepted, registered and presented papers will be published in Materials Today:
Proceedings - Elsevier, a SCOPUS and WOS Indexed.
About The College

Aditya Engineering College was established in the academic year 2001-02 under the aegis of
Aditya Academy, Kakinada with the approval of AICTE and affiliated to JNTUK with an
intake of 180 students in three UG Courses in Engineering & Technology. The College is
situated in an eco-friendly area of 180 acres with thick greenery at Surampalem, East
Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh. The College is 15 KM away from Samalkot Railway
Station on Howrah Chennai Railway line in South Central Railway. The College is located in
between Kakinada and Rajahmundry on ADB Road. The College has three academic
buildings with a total carpet area of 44,524 Sq. Mts. apart from two boys’ hostels and one
girl’s hostel buildings. The college offers 9 Undergraduate programs (CE, CSE, IT, ECE,
EEE, ME, PT, MIN, and AG) and 8 Post Graduation programs (Software Engineering, VLSI
Design, Embedded Systems, Computer Science & Engineering, Structural Engineering,
Thermal Engineering, Power Electronics & Drives and Petroleum Engineering) and MBA
and MCA with 15 years of excellent academic record. Besides the college has added many
feathers in its cap which include AA+ Grade by Careers 360, South India 4 th rank by Digital
Mailers, South India 6th rank by Silicon India, 13th rank out of top 25 engineering colleges by
4Ps, a niche in Asia top 100 Colleges by WCRC leaders, Best Placement Award by
ASSOCHAM, All India 78th rank-DQ CMR top T-School Survey by DATA Quest and 13 th
position in Top 20 colleges of India by the Sunday Indian. The total student strength is 5052
and faculty strength is 355.

The Organizing Department

‘Apara Bhageeratha’- Sir Arthur Cotton remains revered and enjoys the pride of place in the
hearts of the people in coastal Andhra Pradesh for being the genius architect behind the
projects that made the delta region the ‘Rice Bowl’ for the state. With this inspiration taken
from the genius architect, the department of Civil Engineering at Aditya transfers innovative
applications to improve Civil Engineering practices which fulfil the requirements of civil
construction industry. To face the challenges in the field, the department associates itself in
different consultancy activities like quality control, design, detailing, soil testing and concrete
testing to the construction sites in the close vicinity. To shore up transition of knowledge,
eminent personnel from industry and academia are invited to deliver technical talks on
emerging areas to keep the students abreast with the latest advancements.
The department has state-of-the-art facilities, latest software like STAAD.Pro, AUTOCAD,
Revit Structures, Robot Structure analysis etc. and well-equipped laboratories with costly
equipment such as Total Station, Universal Testing Machine, Tri-axle Shear Testing
Machine, Kaplan turbine, Francis turbine, Pelton wheel testing rig, Compression testing
machine, Ultrasonic pulse velocity equipment etc. The department offers unique internship
opportunities to students in companies like L&T Construction, Reliance Industries Limited,
OIL, Irrigation Department, Govt. of A.P., Soma Constructions, APCO Infra tech,
Vishakhapatnam Steel Plant etc.
Objectives

 This International Conference provides a platform for International relationship

among the researchers involved in Material Science, Sustainable Materials and Civil
Engineering.
 The recent inventions and findings in the areas of Sustainable Materials and
Innovative Materials will be discussed.
 This approach is now vital in research activities as Engineering & Technology
practices are increasingly prone to an era of multi-disciplinary collaborations
especially in the field of Material Science.
 This provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers, students, and
academicians to present and discuss the most recent innovations and challenges in
their field of research.
 The proposed International Conference brings together academicians, scientists,
industrialists, and researchers to exchange and share their research expertise, views,
and results in the field of Sustainable Materials and Material Science.

Call for Papers

ICISMT 2022 invites full length original research contributions for sustainable materials and
materials science from industries, R&D organisations, academic institutions, government
departments and research scholars across the world. Full length original research
contributions and review articles not exceeding twelve pages in single column format shall be
submitted. The manuscript template in Microsoft office word is available in the download
section. Extra page charge is applicable for the manuscripts with more than twelve pages. The
manuscript template shall be found in the download section. The manuscript should
contribute original research ideas, developmental ideas, analysis, findings, results, etc. The
manuscript should not have been published in any journals/magazines or conference
proceedings and not under review in any of them. Further the manuscript should contain the
name of the corresponding author with e-mail id and affiliation of all authors. Soft copy of
the full-length manuscripts (in .doc and .pdf) shall be submitted to
[email protected]. All the submitted manuscripts will be sent for peer review and the
corresponding author will be notified the outcome of the review process. If reviewers
recommended for further improvements in the manuscript, the manuscript will be sent back
to the corresponding author and the revised version of the manuscript shall be submitted
within fifteen days on the date of notification.

a new journal specializing in the publication of conference proceedings. Materials Today:
Proceedings provides the materials science community with a fast and flexible route to the
publication of research presented at scientific conferences in the field of materials science.
All papers must be original, and within the scope of materials science, and peer-review is
mandatory.

How to submit a manuscript?

Perspective authors shall submit the full-length manuscripts to [email protected].

Authors will receive notification from the conference once the manuscript has been reviewed

Peer Review Process
Each submitted manuscript will receive a unique paper id. The manuscripts will be initially
screened to check for the conference scope plagiarism and originality. All the submitted
manuscripts will be sent for technical peer review process and the corresponding author will
be notified the outcome of the review process. ICISMT adopts double blind review process.
If reviewers recommended for further improvements in the manuscript, the manuscript will
be sent back to the corresponding author and the revised version of the manuscript shall be
submitted within 15 days on the date of notification. The final decision on the manuscript will
be announced after the third round of evaluation by the technical program committee.

Registration fee covers the publication fee in Elsevier’s Materials Today Proceedings.
Registration form for ICISMT 2022 is available in the Downloads link (updated soon). Duly
filled-in registration form and fee receipt shall be sent to [email protected] on or before
18, July 2022. The bank account detail has been detailed below. The payment of registration
fee shall be made through internet banking, NEFT/IMPS facilities. Corresponding authors are
strictly advised to send the copy of receipt/bill or payment proof with banking payment
reference number along with the registration form.

IMPORTANT – Please note that at least ONE author MUST register in this conference

LETTER OF INVITATION - Authors of the accepted papers shall request a “Letter of

invitation” through email with the details such as name, affiliation, and a valid email address,
paper ID, title, and list of authors. The subject of the mail must be “Invitation letter request”.

NOTES - Confirmation Email will be sent once you complete your registration. That mail
can be kept as a proof of the payment received. However, the receipt for the payment will be
provided during the conference on request. All the bank charges are to be borne by the
participants. The final receipt will only declare the net amount to be received by ICISMT
2022 (excluding all the bank charges).

PLAGIARISM-The TPC of ICISMT 2022 takes care very much while evaluating the
technical content of the paper before the acceptance. Plagiarism is the sole responsibility of
authors if it is found in the Camera-Ready Paper submitted by the authors. There will be no
refund, if the paper is later rejected by the publisher citing the similarity / Plagiarism score.
The conference will not undertake any responsibility to arrange alternate publication for such
cases.
