    UNIVERSITY OF CALICUT ONLINE CERTIFICATE PORTAL

    GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Visit website http://ecertificates.uoc.ac.in


    2. If you are a new user, you have to create an account first.To create an account click on the
    Register link. Your login id and password will be sent to your registered email id and mobile
    number.

    4. After login, Candidate should fill his / her basic details very carefully and save the details. One
    time.

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING EQUIVALENCY/RECOGNITION


    APPLICATION
    * Equivalency is granted to programmes of State or Central University or reputed national
    institutions such as IIM, IIT, IISc, IISER and NIT provided that the nomenclature and duration of
    the programme is the same as that of this University. In the case of other programmes, candidates
    shall check the status of recognition/equivalency in the list provided.

    * Recognition is granted to the regular programmes of State or Central University or Deemed


    University/Private University recognised by the UGC or foreign universities recognised by the
    Association of Indian Universities or reputed national institutions such as IIM, IIT, IISc, IISER and
    NIT and other National level Institutions funded by Government. In the case of Foreign
    Universities, candidates shall produce Recognition Certificate from the AIU.

    * Candidates applying for recognition/equivalency shall ensure that they the meet the eligibility
    conditions prescribed in the University Regulations from time to time. (Regulations)

    Step 1: Click on the Apply Online menu for equivalency application.

    Step 2: Choose the final Course type and year of admission which you appeared and click on
    Proceed for further steps.

    Step 3: Fill out all the details of your programme , then Proceed to next step.

    Step 4: Upload all the required certificates (By choosing ) then click on the upload documnet
    once uploading all mandatory documents then Save & Proceed Button to next step.

    ** Candidates shall fill in the application correctly & upload all the documents required viz,
    consolidated marklists/mark lists, provisional/original degree certificate & TC or any other valid
    document to prove mode of study. Candidates applying for equivalency to distance education
    programmes shall upload marklists & certificates from SSLC onwards including TC or CC.
    Students deserving marks relaxation shall also upload the Community Certificate.

    ** The dimensions of all the certificates is:Minimum Width:500 px and Minimum height:800px.
    Size of file should be between 100kb - 1mb. Allowed types are gif,jpg,png and jpeg.
    You should ensure that the uploaded certificate is very clear and readable. Unreadable certificates
    will lead to the rejection of your application.

    Step 5: Send For Eligibility Verification , After the sucessful Verification, Status of the application
    will be sent to you via Email and SMS, or the applicant can view the status by login to their
    account. Once Eligible you can go through with the payment and Final Submission.

    Step 6: Complete the Online fee payment by clicking Make a Payment button.

    *Application Fee : For those who passed degree/PG Rs. 555 /-

    Step 6: After the sucessful payment, return back to ecertificates.uoc.ac.in verify the details and do
    the Final Submit.

    Status of the application will be sent to you via Email and SMS, or the applicant can view the
    status by login to their account. Final Submission * If you already paid chalan, click on ‘Already
    paid?’ link then enter chalan number and click on the Final submit button.

    * When your certificate is ready to download, you will be informed via Email and SMS.
    You can download your equivalency certificate by clicking the download button in the Application
    Status menu.

    * In case of defective applications, candidates have to rectify the defects by clicking on Apply
    Online link and save the edited details and do the FINAL SUBMIT on Payment Tab.

    * For any query, applicant can contact the corresponding section using the Email and Phone number
    provided.
    * In case your degree is of a regular course and the degree is not found amongst the mapped
    courses, you can send an email with scanned copies of Degree certificate/Provisional Certificate and
    TC/course certificate for taking necessary action for listing the said course and enabling you to
    submit application.
