Abstract
This internship report details my experiences and contributions as a Business Development Intern
at Kalpataru Projects International Ltd., a leading company specializing in infrastructure and railway
projects. The primary objective of this internship was to gain practical knowledge and hands-on
experience in business development processes within a corporate setting.

Throughout the 8 Week internship, I engaged in a variety of tasks. These activities allowed me to

effective communication and teamwork abilities. I was involved in comprehensive market analysis
to identify industry trends and potential business opportunities, assisting in the preparation of
detailed project proposals that contributed to winning bids, and effectively utilizing data

Description of Duties
During my internship at Kalpataru Projects International Ltd., I was entrusted with a variety of
responsibilities that provided me with exposure to the field of business development within the
infrastructure and railway sectors. My duties included the following key activities:

Market Research and Analysis:

 Conducted in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and

potential threats in the infrastructure and railway industries of countries like Serbia, Croatia,
Albania, Iraq, Bangladesh and India.

 Analyzed competitors' strategies and market positioning to gain insights into the competitive
landscape.

 Compiled and presented research findings in detailed presentations to support strategic

decision-making.

Data Visualization:

 Utilized data visualization tools to create charts, graphs, and dashboards that presented
complex data in an understandable and visually appealing manner.

 Integrated data visualization into project reports to enhance the clarity and impact of the
information presented.

 Developed skills in using various data visualization software and tools, such as Microsoft
Excel & PowerPoint.
