There are two questions in this section, answer both. Each question carries 10 marks.

at random, from the bag, find the probability that it is black. [2]

(c) An electrician worked for 50 hours in a particular week. His basic rate is K36.00
per hour and the rate of overtime is “time and a half”. If his normal working time
is 40 hours per week, calculate his total wage. [3]
