    MSc Accounting and Financial Management

    Module Release and running schedule

    Order to take the modules


    You should register for the following modules in the frst two sessions of your programme:
    Code Module
    AFM010 Financial Accounting Frameworks (FAF)

    AFM020 Management Accounting Frameworks (MAF)

    AFM030 Financial Management Essentials (FME)

    You should then register for:


    Code Module
    AFM040 Advanced Financial Analysis (AFA)

    AFM050 Advanced Management Accounting (AMA)

    Then register for the remaining modules and the Capstone Project. You must
    have passed 60 credits before you register for the Capstone Project.

    Please note: you may not perform to the best of your ability if you do not register for the modules in the order
    prescribed here. Modules AFA010 to AFA050 provide a foundation of learning to build on in the later modules.
    If you study the modules in a diferent order or plan to take longer than two years to complete,
    you can use the table below to plan for a self-paced study journey through the programme.

    AFM080 Analysing Risk for Decision Making (ARDM) 15 July 2022 January, April

    AFM090 Issues in Investment Management (IIM) 15 October 2022 October, July

    AFM100 Capital Markets and Global Perspectives (CMGP) 15 January 2023 January, April

    AFM500 Capstone Project (takes 2 sessions) 30 April 2022 October, April

    Modules will run according to the table (subject to minimum student registrations and availability). In exceptional
    circumstances, we may cancel all registrations for a module if an insufcient number of students have registered.
