INTRODUCTION
Artificial intelligence has become a fundamental part of current society and has spread over
numerous areas such as entrepreneurship, public services, and education. This literature review
sees the challenges, applications, and significance of AI in business, public sector, and
education contexts. Our aim is to understand how AI is reshaping these domains by exploring
the domains, the obstacles it is encountering, as well as the ethical concerns involved.

LITERATURE REVIEW
Artificial Intelligence otherwise called AI, has prevailed in recent years, and its adoption in
various industries has also increased. Artificial means ‘man-made’, and intelligence means
‘thinking power’, together means ‘a man-made thinking power’. It refers to the artificial
creation of human-like intelligence which can be induced in machines by creating systems that
can understand, think, behave, and learn like humans. AI has been dominating many fields and
in this literature review, we are concentrating on the challenges, applications, and implications
of this technology in the business, public sector, and education sectors.

BUSINESS
According to (Bharadiya 2023), various business sectors have been leveraging AI technologies,
particularly machine learning, robotics, and natural language processing (NLP), to enhance
customer services, data processing, analysis, recommendations, decision-making, etc. AI has
shown its potential to address industry-specific challenges and has dramatically altered
traditional business models. For instance, AI has been used and tested in the healthcare industry
for dosing drugs, various other treatments, and surgical procedures in the operating room, which
have proven successful. In finance, this technology has been utilized for detecting swindling,
and trading strategies, proven successful, and has increased efficiency and productivity.
According to (Jain 2023), utilizing AI as a catalyst can enable businesses to have a competitive
edge in the market. For instance, predictive analytics and machine learning enable the team to
deduce important information from the vast resources facilitating them to come up with tactical
plans and precise decisions fostering them to meet their goals, customized market campaigns,
and personalized customer services, task automation that enables them to focus on high-priority

jobs all contribute to helping the business stand out from its competitors. From (Jasmin,
Thomas, and Jain 2023) perspectives, taking advantage of AI-driven automation can assist in
the reduction of operational costs and enhance efficiency and productivity. It can also create
new jobs that may require upskilling and retraining of the existing workforce.

Now, the major challenge faced by business sectors is to maintain a balance between ethical AI
and innovation as it is hard to cultivate trust from their consumers if this technology is not
utilized wisely. (Reji, Ahmed, and Jain 2023) addresses the need to focus on ethical AI
frameworks for business because of algorithm bias, data privacy infringement, and job
displacement. (Jain 2023) also highlights another challenge, the cruciality of coming up with a
strategic plan to upskill and retrain the workforce so that they can have a secure future.

PUBLIC SECTOR
The rise in the adoption of AI is not only noticed in business but also in the public sector. This
is due to the potential of AI in performing task automation, resource optimization, and
enhancing public services, efficiency, and productivity.

AI’s capacity to improve public service cannot be overlooked. With the help of machine
learning and predictive analysis which are the subsets of AI can be used in alleviating
government burdens as they are applied in personalized citizen interaction and administrative
processes, and to upskill productivity, efficiency, and effectivity of government services. This
technology is also used in citizen involvement with the government. AI tools such as chatbots,
virtual assistants, etc., provide a platform for citizen to interact with the government and voice
out their concerns and issues. Citizens can also engage in the government decision-making
processes, fostering societal well-being and strengthening democratic governance.

UAE government is the best example of this, the UAE Council for AI is tasked with the mission
of UAE Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2031, to make UAE a world leader in AI. UAE has taken
full advantage of this technology by implementing it in various sectors. AI-powered chatbots
are used in the public sector to respond to the public in various languages and to provide them
with guidance and assistance. In transportation for controlling and improving the transportation
and also reducing travel time. In investing crimes by using AI-powered facial recognition.

As mentioned in the business sector, ethical issues related to AI are a major challenge faced by
the public sector. To gain the trust of the citizens, the government should cultivate an AI

governance framework that will concentrate on transparency in communication, AI algorithm,
and decision-making processes, should be accountable and should uphold a strong ethical
principle.

EDUCATION
Artificial intelligence has made great developments in education; the use of generative AI offers
greater hope for creative implementation. According to Pesovski et al. (2024), generative AI
has the potential to revolutionize learning in that it facilitates the customization of teaching
materials based on complicated machine learning algorithms and neural networks.
Personalisation has been shown to improve learning outcomes by increasing motivation and
facilitating improved retention of learning material.
As noted by Santos and Henriques (2021), use of generative AI promotes creativity and
innovation in education. Generative AI platforms foster a culture of lifelong learning and
discovery by giving students the chance to investigate a wide range of ideas and concepts
through AI-generated resources and activities.

Opting for customization has illustrated the increase of learning results by enhancing
enthusiasm and enhancing enhancement of memory. It has also been noted in research that by
Santos and Henriques (2021)’s, the employment of the generative AIs boosts creativity along
with innovation within education Generative AIs’ systems therefore leads to a culture of
continued education where researchers are able to explore various thoughts and themes with
the help of resources or activities generated by artificial machines.

Despite the numerous advantages of including AI in pedagogical strategy, instructors should


remain mindful of key ethical considerations. In their research Park and Lee (2023) underline
the significance of openness and impartiality in AI applications, stressing the need for clear
guidelines and rules for managing them. Additionally, Wang and Woo (2021) give a clear
indication of the need to tackle moral concerns such as algorithmic bias and data privacy to
ensure ethical use of AI in educational settings.

Moreover, it is also clear that making use of Artificial Intelligence in learning environments
leads to greater self-reliance among learners as well as enhancing their motivation along with
critical thinking capacities (Tu & Jia, 2020). Interactive experience while studying can be
achieved through using AI tools whereas personalised comments are among the adaptable

options available in relation to various materials. Along with the development process, what
happens is that they turn out to be more interested as well as person-driven students.

VanLehn (2019) and Alkan et al. (2021) have observed that these solutions not only lead to a
better understanding of the material by students but also create opportunities for collaboration
that is all-encompassing.

This has been shown through software development training which they use ChatGPT, a
language model developed by Open AI to make possible pros and cons that are related to
programming. Silva et al., in 2024, discovered that ChatGPT had a huge potential to support
students in their studies, giving feedback among other uses during programming courses. While
focusing on live help, (Smith et al., 2022) show that ChatGPT could be used by tutors to assist
learners do assignments or even projects. According to Wang and Johnson (2023), ChatGPT is
a space for shared education for teamwork between students where it will be about sharing
ideas. In addition, Chen and Zhang (2021) assert that ChatGPT not only shares examples but
also gives instances of how things work alongside each other, thus connecting theoretical ideas
with practical ones.

By and large, integrating ChatGPT boosts learning quality thereby promoting teamwork and
equipping learners for real world challenges; furthermore, the entrenchment of AI focusing on
generative AI as well as adaptive learning systems has the scalability to renovate education
completely. Dealing with ethical challenges when AI systems are used responsibly and fairly
in education is a critical step in resolving this matter. Consequently, teachers should be able to
utilize the advantages that come with using AI in creating learning spaces that are exhaustive,
efficient, and attractive to every learner.

RECOMMENDATION
According to the interview conducted, Ms. Mehak, a working student at SUC, gave valuable
insights regarding AI. To summarize, in the public sector, the main aim of AI in Big Data is
to automate and improve the process of data analysis; thus, it makes it quicker, more precise,
and easy to scale. Moreover, AI has replaced labour by accomplishing repetitive tasks. It will
take over massively in the next 20-30 years. However, the creativity aspect of humans is
incomparable. Regarding education, queries can be easily cleared, leading to saving time and
efficiency. The drawbacks of implementing AI include its hefty price tag that comes under
investment. Creating future strategies can make a business model successful in the long term.
Next, AI can be complicated and should be understood by the user to match business needs
before using the tools. Regarding growth, it has shown the best results in the secondary and
tertiary sectors of the market. Lastly, UAE AI strategy 2031 will be successful as it plans for
innovation and sustainable goals.

From the surveys and feedback, we gathered they also responded similarly to the interviewee.
We shouldn’t completely rely on AI, the main aim of the invention of this technology is to
help humans not to replace them. AI along with humans is more powerful than AI alone.

CONCLUSION
The integration of AI, particularly generative AI and adaptive learning systems like ChatGPT,
holds immense promise for revolutionizing education. But even with so many benefits, there
still have been raised other issues like algorithmic bias problems or security concerns in relation
to using personal information. In corporations and public sectors, likewise, it is important to
strike a balance between ethical AI deployment and innovation with regards to gaining trust as
well as ensuring sustainable progress. Coming to grips with such moral dilemmas and at the
same time dealing with AI’s game-changing capacity will go a long way toward generating
inclusive, effective, and forward-thinking environments across many industries worldwide.
