 ABSTRACT

Social media posters are very important in our life. Every Industries and sector
use social media poster for their service or product promotion. I have been
given some specific products and several elements to make a social media
poster. Social media posters play an important role in product publicity, I have
chosen a design for making a social media poster of Pamir Cola.

 CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

1.1 INTRODUCTION
The purpose of designing a poster for each product is almost the same. And
that is to promote and expand the product and the company. In addition,
various topics or information about the product are highlighted in the poster
design of the product. For example: The company's logo, its flavor, various
types of elements are added to increase the poster quality. I have been given
some products for social media poster design. Out of that I decided to design a
poster for Pamir Cola Band's lemon flavored drinks.
1.2 MOTIVATION
An attractive poster design has a chance to attract more customers. Peoples
can learn about the product by looking at the poster and become interested in
buying the product. I think product design is very important because it creates
a relationship between the buyer and the seller. And all these make me
inspired to do an attractive poster design.

1.3 OBJECTIVE
Principal objective of my poster:
i) Meeting the task expectation: As my project is a specific task based,
my first objective was to fulfil the specified requirement of the task
and following the rules.
ii) Create visual attraction: A quality of a poster depends on how much
attractive and relevant the poster is. I have tried my best to create
attraction by adding elements, color grading, camera raw and filters.
iii) Create a relevant theme: posters are always based on a specific topic.
In my case, topic is specified so I have to prepare a poster theme
relevant to that topic.
iv) Sharing Information: In the poster design, I tried to make the poster
qualitative by adding the company logo of the product and some
elements compatible with the product.

1.4 REPORT LAYOUT
In the chapter one I provided the introduction, motivation and the objective of
my project.
In chapter two I have mentioned the software I have used and their
description.
In chapter three I have described my full working process through thought,
collect reference, production and post production steps.
In chapter four criticized my own work and mention my own evolution.

REQUIRED SOFTWARE

I have used a specific software to create my project. That is-

2.1 ADOBE PHOTOSHOP 2024
Adobe Photoshop is a graphics editing software, developed and published by
Adobe Inc. for Windows and macOS. The software has become the most used
tool for professional digital art, especially in graphics editing. Photoshop can
edit and compose raster images in multiple layers and supports masks, alpha
compositing and several color models. Photoshop uses its own PSD and PSB file
formats to support these features. Its feature set can be expanded by plug-ins.

WORK PROCESS

3.1 THOUGHT PROCESS

I will describe the whole process of designing my particular product poster in
this chapter. I have divided the whole process into three parts-
1.Collect Elements
2.Production
3.Post production

3.2 COLLECT ELEMENTS

My honorable teacher provided me with the product and some several
elements. I was given the freedom to design the poster of any product as I like.
There is no restriction on using the elements. The elements can be provided or
downloaded as required from any source on the internet.
The elements I have used for the poster design-

3.3 PRODUCTION
For the design, at first, I have taken a transparent canvas measuring 2500*2200
(width and height)

Then I have selected a background color compared with the main product.

Due to the fact that the background does not match the product properly, the
background has to be changed a little.

Added a layer of leaf and added some motion blur.

Then add lemon

The next step is to create Pamir Cola and shadow for it.

A reflection of the bottle is created vertically with a shadow under the bottle.

Added some more elements.

Added the brand logo.

Finally, merge a copy of all visible layers into the target layer and apply camera
raw filter.

3.4 POST PRODUCTION

After finishing my work, I saved my photoshop file for submission and

exported the file into Portable Network Graphics (PNG)format for
further use.

DISCUSSION

4.1 MY OWN EVALUATION

I believe after completing the poster design, I have improved and learned a lot.
I have learned how to work with a specific task, understanding the concept,
design according the concept, how to find relevant elements, where to
highlight and arrange design to make visually appealing. I think from this poster
I still have to improve more in some areas. I should work on overall
composition and contrast as I think the poster can be more eye caching by
adjusting the brightness and contrast
