The Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) was a comprehensive program
designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and mindset necessary to
successfully launch and manage their own agri-business ventures. The program consisted
of a series of workshops, lectures, hands-on activities, and mentorship opportunities. A
recent visit to RB Chemicals Industry, a leading manufacturer of biopesticides and
biofertilizers, was organized for agribusiness management students to achieve these
objectives.

Agriculture sector is always under pressure to increase the quality & quantity of
agriculture produce to feed to ever growing population of India. The green revolution
brought impressive gains in productivity but with insufficient concern for sustainability.
The use of chemical pesticides & fertilizers in Indian Agriculture has reached alarming
levels with grave implications for human health, the eco system & ground water. It has
depleted soil health by making the soil ecology non inhabitable for soil flora & fauna,
resulted In to depletion of soil fertility & outbreak of unexpected pests which are common
pestsotherwise.Microbes & plants are intimate partners in virtually every life process
Recent studies have realized their enormous potential which needs to be explored in our
agricultural practices.
R. B. Herbal Agro has been working with Microbes for over two decades since its
inception in 1998. We have distinct R & D center devoted only to study various aspects of
