The Barns Mansion is located away from the city, at the edge of it.
Mr. Barns likes to collect jewelry, and has among his collection the largest diamond
in the world: the "Achilles Diamond."
Many people work in the mansion, who always complain because they receive bad
treatment.
One day, when Barns went on a business trip to Buenos Aires, someone stole the
Achilles Diamond.
That morning, after Mr. Barns had left, the maid went to the desk to do her daily
cleaning and found the safe open. He immediately called the police.
After a while, detective Hector Osvaldo Quiroga showed up, with his assistant
Noelia López.
Héctor Quiroga is a man of about 33 years old, with a lot of experience in jewelry
theft cases, he is tall, thin, disheveled in his appearance, he is also messy in his work. She
wears long hair and has small brown eyes.
Upon entering the desk, the detective found the safe open, without having been
forced. Noelia and the detective toured the place and observed traces of mud and shoe
prints on the carpet, which is why they suspected the butler and the gardener.
They began to interrogate the inhabitants of the house and the maid commented that
she had heard two people arguing at the boss's desk, they were men's voices, and that she
had also heard the Diamond Achilles mentioned. The maid also said that the gardener
needed money to pay for a very expensive treatment for his mother's illness, and the butler
wanted revenge because he was treated badly.
The detective and his assistant quickly went in search of the gardener and the butler,
when they arrived at the scene, they found them preparing to escape.
Esmider Ledesma is a detective with dark skin, tall, 1.90 meters tall, he is 26 years
old, his eyes are honey-colored. He is a very calm and friendly man with his colleague
Silvia Schneider, a slender woman, around 20 years old, blonde, with light eyes, very
organized and responsible; Together they have participated in numerous police operations.
One very rainy April afternoon, leaving their friends' house, the couple of detectives
met Detective Fernández, an old friend of both of them, who was very sad because his dog
Coco had been killed.
The detectives continued searching and found the knife with which they had killed
the dog, wrapped in a handkerchief, with Leon's name on it, in the trash can.
Detective Silvia Schneider went to León's house, knocked on the door and was
answered by the house's employee, who called her employer. The detective questioned him,
León denied everything, explaining that he had not been at the house for several days and
had only arrived the day before, since the dog had been killed two days before.
The detective asked to speak with the employee because she suspected that León
was lying. When she questions her, the employee tells her that León had forced her to kill
the dog, telling her that if she didn't do it he would leave her without a job, and she was the
only breadwinner for her family. So he decided to put on the boss's boots and look for a
handkerchief so that he could be blamed that way. He also clarified that the boss had not
left the city.
While the maid was talking to the detective, León escaped through the back door.
THE KIDNAPPING (Anonymous)
Detective Leo López is a man who smokes a lot, is daring and has a bad
mood, who also likes to drink, and is always untidy, with his long hair disheveled. His
green eyes are permanently looking for clues to solve the most difficult cases.
One Monday morning, around 10:30, he received a phone call from Joaquín
Bustamante who told him:
- Come quickly! I received a phone call telling me that they have my son Julio! –
Bustamante shouted on the other side of the phone.
Leo goes to Ramos' house, questions him and he tells him that he had
lost his cell phone two days before the kidnapping and that he had made a report to the
police. Leo calls the police and verifies that what Ramos said was true, because there was a
report to the police about the loss of a cell phone made by Emmanuel Ramos.
So where will Julio be? Have they really kidnapped him? Will he be alive or
will he be dead...?
The red footprint (Anonymous)
One day Professor William Estorch knocked on the door of my house, I opened it
and invited him in. He told me that the answers to a test had been stolen at his school. I
agreed to investigate the crime and headed to the school.
At school everything was very quiet, the teacher took me to his office where the
answers had been stolen. These had appeared under the student Swan's bench (they called
her Swan because of her white skin). She denied everything, saying that she had never
stolen the answers. The teacher believed her because she was a very good student. I
investigated the crime scene and observed a red shoe print. I asked the teacher how many
students studied at this school, he answered that there were six students: Patricio,
nicknamed Pato; Carla, Julieta, Tomás, Carlos and Florencia.
When the students were in class I entered their rooms, observing and deducing I
managed to decipher the mystery.
-I have solved the mystery. The prints came from Pato's shoes, which, when they are
hand-painted and stepped hard, the paint comes off and leaves a unique red print.
-And how did you get into my office if the door was closed?
-He knows that you always leave a spare key under the rug outside your office door.
-Was nothing.
