14. Find the zeroes of the quadratic polynomial x2-2x-8 and verify the relationship between the zeroes and its coefficients.
15. Prove that √5 is an irrational number.

SECTION ‘D’
16. Seven times a two digit number is equal to four times the number obtained by reversing the order of its digits. If the
difference of the digits is 3, determine the numbers.

17. The sum of 4th and 8th term of an AP is 24 and the sum of the 6th and 10th term is 44. Find the first three terms of the AP.

library. There are two sections- section A and section B of grade X. There are 32 students in section A and 36 students in
section B.
