    Part I : Boundary wall Work

    1.0 EARTH WORK
    1.1 EXCAVATION IN FOUNDATION
    Earth work in excavation in foundation trenches, Columns pits etc.
    from existing natural / excaveted ground level and stacking the
    excavated material within the site including dressing of bottom, sides
    strutting, timbering, shoring, trimming of sides dewatering, all leads
    and lifts of upto 3 meter incidentals, etc. complete with ramming of
    bottom, surface preparation as per specifications to receive
    the PCC. Excavation shall be payable only for vertical cut up to
    the outer edge of foundation lean concrete as indicated in Cu.M 681.82 250 170455
    drawings for all depths. Cost of extra excavation required for
    working space, supporting side shuttering of foundations and
    retaining walls and that required for making slopes for stability of
    excavation shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted & will
    not be paid extra. (Note : The Line & levels in the drawings shall be
    strictly followed and over excavation if any shall be made good by
    contractor free of cost as per the instructions of the

    1.2 EARTH FILLING


    Filling with selected, suitable excavated earth already available at site
    in plinths, back of retaining walls, foundations and trenches and
    spreading the remaining soil for landscaping and other location as
    directed by the engineer incharge and shall be done in layers, not
    exceeding 20cm in depth and consolidating each deposited layer
    by mechanical means, ramming and watering as per
    specifications including re-excavation, transportation, loading, Cu.M 609.22 245 149258.9
    unloading, carriage to dumping spot and all incidentals at all depth,
    levels, leads and lifts complete. (Net consolidated area fill volume will
    be computed from the initial and final levels. Volume in slopes,
    embankments etc. will be computed applying appropriate formula,
    as per CPWD specification).

    1.3 PLAN CONCRETE WORK

    Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand


    :4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) in foundations,
    a Cu.M 22.10 7100 156910
    footings, under floors, under floor cushion concrete and mass concrete
    etc. including the cost of centering and shuttering.

    2.0 REINFORCEMENT CEMENT CONCRETE

    Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete work ( with RMC of


    approved make ) grade conforming to IS:456 with coarse sand and
    a graded approved stone aggregate 20mm nominal size including
    cost of scaffolding, curing etc. but excluding the cost of centering,
    shuttering, & reinforcement.

    3.0 REINFORCEMENT

    Providing, laying and fixing in position Thermo mechanically


    treated bars reinforcement for RCC cast in situ or precast work,
    including cost of supplying, straightening, cutting, bending and
    binding with 16 gauge MS annealed binding wire, cement mortar
    a spacer blocks etc. complete as per drawings, specifications and as MT 20.00 80000 1600000
    directed by the Engineer. (Basic Rate: 55 per kg) (Any Variation will
    be billed to cleint or recovered from the contractor)

    4.0 SHUTTERING
    Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and
    removal of form for Architectural Form finished concrete work
    using water proof (Laminated) shuttering ply 12mm thick
    conforming to IS:711. The water proof ply shall be used for only
    a 2(two) repetitions after first use, and any repetition after the first
    usage shall be taken up only after prior approval of the Engineer-in-
    Charge for suitability of water proof ply material for use in
    Architectural exposed finish (Repitition will be made as per site
    decision)

    5.0 Brick work (230mm)


    Providing and constructing brick masonry of thickness 230 mm
    and above in super structure for any shapes, fins, projections, in
    shafts using selected quality burnt clay FPS bricks of class designation
    75 laid in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement Cu.M. 88.14 7100 625794
    :6 coarse sand) mix, joints finished, flush/ raked to 6mm depth
    including scaffolding, curing complete as per specification and
    drawing or as directed by engineer in charge.
    Total Amount 41,36,080.60
