Earth. It gives off heat and light. It keeps Earth warm,
too. These heat and light may have beneficial or harmful
effects on human activities. We must know how we can
protect ourselves from the intense heat and light of the
sun.
Do you have any idea about the beneficial effects of
heat and light from the sun? (The pupils will raise their hands to
answer)
-The heat and light from the sun help us to
dry our clothes.
-Sunlight enables us to see everything
around us.

Very good class!

Beneficial effects of heat and light from the Sun

1.Sunlight enables us to see everything around us.
Without sunlight, people and most animals will find it
difficult to see the surroundings.

clothes.
3. The water cycle will not occur without heat from the
sun. If water do not naturally recycle itself, we would
run out of clean water, which is essential to life.
4. Sunlight prevents some diseases. Sunlight is a source
of vitamin D which prevents rickets, a disease of the
bones.
