    DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION 1

    I. Lesson Objectives
    At the end of the lesson the pupils should able to:
    A. Identify the five senses.
    B. Appreciate the importance of sense organ.
    C. Demonstrate the uses of their senses.

    II. Subject Matter

    Reference: Enjoying life through Music, Art, Physical Education and Health 1
    Instructional Materials: Pictures, Perfumes, Candy, bondpaper, rock, cartolina

    III. Lesson Procedure

    A. Preparation
     Please stand up and let us pray.  (Pupils Participate)
     Assalamo alaykom and Good morning.  Wa alaykumissalam
    Warahmatullahi Wabarakatoho!
    Good morning teacher, good
    morning classmate, good
    morning everybody!
     Okay, you may now take your sit.
     Is everybody present?  (Pupils will check if their

     Very good, everybody is all present today.  (Pupils happily clap their hands)
    Let’s clap your hands for ourselves.

    B. Motivation

     Which body part do we use to hear?  Ear

     Which body part do we use to see?  Eyes


     Nose

     Which body part do we use to smell?

     Hands

     Which body part do we use to touch?

     Tongue

     Which body part do we use to taste?

    C. Presentation
    Hearing, sight, touch, smell and taste is what
    we call senses.

    Do you have these senses?


    Really? Let’s find out!

    1. Look at this figure what do you see?
     I heard a dog’s bark, tweets of
    birds, laughs.
    Very Good! We use our eyes to describe
    what we see. Therefore, eyes are our sense
    of sight.

    2. Close your eyes and listen for 30 seconds.

    sounds that you hear?  The first paper is smooth while
    the second one is rough.
    Your sense of hearing is working well!
    And if it’s not I think it’s time to clean your
    ear.

    5. Who wants candy? Of course, everyone


    wants, Let’s try to taste these candies.
    Thanks to your taste buds. Tongue has a
    taste bud that’s why we are able to taste
    different flavor found in food.

    sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch.

    Tongue to taste

    Hands to touch and feel
