Instructions in US terminology

• Sl St - slip stitch
• Inc - increase (2 single crochet in one
stitch)

stitches - 2 stitches together)

Description
Making this pattern is recommended to crochet on the
left side, using V stitches

I recommend to change color in the last stitches of a

round, before you start a new round with a new color.
Pull up a loop with the yarn you are working with, and
finish the stitch with a new yarn color.

Attaching eyes

Use any decorations for the eyes 👀 , you

can use a crochet version or anything
else - be creative. Sow them on or glue
them, it depends what kind of eyes you
would use (Pic. 11)
Nose and mouth

Attach 2 pins to
mark the nose 👃 .
Count the rounds
from the first round
you made (bottom of
the pumpkin), add
pins in round 32
(point 1) and in
round 34 (point 2)

Embroider the
nose (color 83 -
pumpkin) and
mouth (color 26
- brown) (Pic. 14
and 15)
Make small stitches on the mouth,
make as many as you like. Use double
or single thread for the mouth - it
depends how visible you want it to be
(blue circle - single thread, green
circle double thread)(Pic. 16)

Customizing
your pumpkin

Using single
thread
embroider
eyelashes, add
some stitches
to the
eyebrows. I
made some
extra stitches
on the
pumpkin’s
body (Pic. 17
and 18)
Side stitches

Use a thin thread (I used an

embroidery thread DMC color brown
301) make small stitches in the places
of slip stitches (Pic. 19)
Come out with the needle in the back
of the pumpkin (make sure it is the
same spot between the stitches where
you begin (Pic . 25)

Pull
both
of
the

ends
of the yarn and
make two or three
knots to secure
the ends (Pic. 26)
Hide the ends
inside the pumpkin’s body.
Pumpkins top

Attach yarn in
round 93
