I, Balogun Balikis Folake, a final year student of the above-named department and institution is

carrying out a research on the topic: Knowledge and attitude of nursing mothers towards

prevention of diarrhea among the age of 0-12months children in Ojo Local Government

From the table above, 28 respondents (14%) have no child between the ages of 0-
12months, 96 respondents (49%) have 1 child between the ages of 0-12 months, 52
respondents (27%) have 2 children between the ages of 0-12 months while 20
respondents (10%) have 3 children between the ages of 0-12months. Hence, majority of
the respondents have 1 child each, between the ages of 0-12 months.

From the table above, 57 respondents (29%) agree, 99 respondents (50%) disagree, while
40 respondents (21%) could not decide. Hence, majority of the respondents have no child
experienced diarrhea in the past 12 months.

From the table above, 114 respondents (58%) agree, 50 respondents (26%) disagree,
while 32 respondents (16%) undecided. Hence, majority of the respondents are aware of
the preventive measures that can be taken to reduce the risk of diarrhea in infants.

From the table above, 95 respondents (49%) internet, 48 respondents (25%) newspaper, 8
respondents (4%) magazine, while 45 respondents (22%) have no idea. Hence, majority
of the respondents disclosed that internet is their major sources of information to learn
about preventing diarrhea in infants.
