I have always been keen on fashion from other countries and Paris is a melting pot of different cultures.
There are millions of foreign people who live in Paris, so I decided to make my shop different, because I had to
compete with a lot of local clothes shops which were already strong and famous.
First of all, I got in touch with clothes makers from all over Europe and North Africa. I needed to create a mix
of styles that could only be bought in my shop or on the Internet. At first I was afraid I would suffer strong
competition from online stores. However, I soon found out that my customers preferred to buy from me
because they could try on what they liked and ask for advice.
My shops are now really popular: women from all over the world who now live in Paris have become regular
customers. They don’t only buy clothes from their original country. They like to try new styles and my shop
allows them to learn about fashion trends worldwide. This means that if they want to try on a kimono they
don’t need to fly to Tokyo: they can find a little corner of Japan in my boutique.

Sienna no longer panics when she has an important test to take. 16 This is a simple, yet useful technique
that she has learnt from doing yoga.
Sienna is a perfect example of how teenagers can benefit from yoga in a world that is getting more competitive
every day. 17 Like any other student she also goes to school so she has to get up very early to go to the
swimming pool. On top of that she has to do her homework and at weekends she plays matches, too. ‘I'm so
busy that I really need to have some time to relax,’ she says.
Yoga has lots of health benefits, too. 18 It also improves balance and decreases the chance of getting
sick. Teenagers who have tried doing it regularly all agree that it reduces anxiety and it even helps them sleep
better. 19
Finally, doing yoga regularly also helps teens to become more confident about their changing bodies.
20 When this happens, the practice of yoga can prevent weight gain.
