we strongly recommend to clean soonest after each cargo discharge, in order to avoid persistent stain accumulation.

When using Aquabreak PX or Aquatuff, we recommend using Foam Agent to increase foaming ability and soaking time on cargo hold surfaces.

Chemical Procedures
We strongly recommend the use of Slip-Coat or CargoBarrier HD prior to loading any “dirty” cargo. Both chemical are temporary hold
coatings that will prevent the hold from staining and speed up the cleaning operations after discharging. Slip Coat is suitable for dry
cargoes as it is water dissolvable, CargoBarrier HD is water resistant and therefore ideal for wet cargoes and humid conditions.

Procedure for applying CargoBarrier HD and Slip Coat

1. Rinse hold surfaces with fresh water - surfaces should be clean and dry before treatment.
2. Both products are supplied at ready-to-use concentration, apply directly with Panamax Cargo Hold Cleaning kit or Cargo Hold
Compact kit.
3. Once surfaces appear wet, a proper film is created; do not apply more than necessary. Allow the film to dry completely before
loading the next cargo.
