GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS-
• You have to make pictorial as well as graphic presentation on the left side of the
file only.
• No writing work to be done on the left side. It should be only done on the right
side on the ruled page.
• Use A4 size light coloured paper, which is one side plane and one side ruled.
• All data to be collected, authentically.
• At least one big drawing or multiple small drawings based on the topic is a must.
• Essay of 802, 1000 words is a must on the topic that you choose for your project.
• Please note that the order of the pages should be in the same sequence as given at
the end should be put.
• Interview wherever applicable has to be live and should be supported by a
photograph of the interview and the interviewer together.
• Choose anyone topic out of the ones given below.
• Viva will be based on the project as well as the chapter, supporting the topic, so
choose your topic wisely.
1.THE LAST LESSON
• Elaborate the theme of linguistic chauvinism and procrastination and the
importance of time management. Elaborate on the importance of mother tongue.
• Graph:-Collect data of the countries where people have these tendencies and
represented graphically.
• Interview:-Take an interview of a teacher and talk about the Teacher’s relationship
with his/her students.
2.THE LOST SPRING
• Find out about various slums across our country, the living conditions of the
people there the kind of work people do(adults, and children separately) whether children
have accessibility to education the kind of work that minor children do and mention their
feelings at doing such work, the plight of street children forced into labour early in life
and denied the opportunities of schooling.
• Graph-Depict graphically data about slums across India
• Interview-Interview of a slum child or adult and their lifestyle, collect information
about Seema Puri Dharavi and represent it with pictures.
3.DEEP WATER
• Discuss about various phobia suffered by people and make a list of their actual
names against the common names like fear of water-hydrophobia(mention at least 15).
Talk about your phobia and how you overcame it.
• Graph-graphically depict the types of fear and the percentage of people suffering
from it
• Interview-interview of a swimmer/deep diver, swimming coach, and his struggles,
or interview a person with very extreme fear of something.
4.MY MOTHER AT 66
• collect information on the living conditions of people in old age, homes, number
of old age, homes, mental conditions of people, living there, lifestyle of the people in
these homes facilities that they that get there, why are they living in old age homes?
Discuss about mother, daughter relationship.
• Graph-Graphic depiction of old age homes in India/percentage of old people living
alone in India/percentage of old people living with their families.
• Interview-An old person and his or her mental condition
5.KEEPING QUIET
• Discuss reasons of environmental degradation and how man is harming the earth.
Focus on the relevance of meditation, meditation, and introspection.
• Graph-Green forest versus dead forest in the past five years/green forest(number)
over the past 30 years against green forest now
• Interview-An environmentalist or nature lover
6.INDIGO
• discuss how Champaran was important in the freedom movement. Write the
biography of a freedom fighter.
• Graph-Collect data on Real Indigo plantation versus synthetic indigo plantation or
data about different kinds of freedom movement of our country.
• Interview-A patriot/soldier/defence personal,/freedom fighter
7.A THING OF BEAUTY
• mention various things of beauty right about the benefits of going amidst nature.
Why does man find peace and solidarity there? Collect data of natural destination of our
country.
• Graph-Data on various beautiful tourist sports in India against the foreign country
• Interview-A person who loves to travel worldwide wide
8.THE THIRD LEVEL
• Talk about the insecurities in today’s life and why men wants to escape. Why are
Hurry and worry and trademarks of modern men?
• Graph-On the percentage of people, stressed, worried as against people with no
worries
• Interview-Your principal/counsellor/fellow
student//Teacher/neighbour/relative/parent to know about the
problems(stress/worry/anxiety/fear) faced by them in their life.
9.ON THE FACE OF IT
• Collect information on rehabilitation centres in India, discuss mental and physical
trauma faced by physically handicapped to positivity. The attitude/outlook of society
towards a handicapped person
• Graph-Make a graph on the number of physically handicapped people as against
the non handicapped ones.
• Interview-A physically handicap/ challenged person and write about his or her
views on the problems faced by him/her during his or her condition.
10.MEMORIES OF CHILDHOOD
• Discuss about the types/experiences/memories of people in the childhood. Talk
about any special incident that they recall from their childhood.
• Graph-On the number of children abused(in any way) in their childhood, as
against a one who has led a normal life
• Interview-A person who has some special experience or drama as a child.
