My name is Andrew. My family and I live in Yekaterinburg.
We live in a nice apartment in a

modern residential building. Our apartment is on the third floor of a nine-story building,
which has all the modern conveniences, from central heating to the elevator and a garbage
chute. We have a cozy three-room apartment. It consists of one bedroom for my parents,
one large living room and a study, which is also my room. In addition, there is a spacious
kitchen, bathroom and toilet. The largest room in our apartment is the living room. It has
many useful functions. For example, we can watch TV in her or spend family dinners. At
other times we host guests there and they can even stay overnight. We have a large sofa in
the living room, which can transform into a bed. My parents’ bedroom is also quite
spacious. This is a large room with a double bed, two bedside tables, two night lamps and
one wardrobe. The office is not as big as the other rooms in our apartment, but,
nevertheless, verycozy. There is not a lot of furniture in it, only the most necessary
things, such as a desk, a chair, a lamp, several bookshelves, my bed and a
wardrobe. This room used to be my father’s study, but when I grew up, it became
my room. We do not keep any pets in the apartment, but in the corridor there is a
large aquarium with a lot of exotic and colorful fish. I really like my flat. I think this
is a great place to stay. With neighbors, we were also lucky. The office is not as big

My house
Our house is located near the trolleybus stop. We live in a panel house on the fourth floor. Our apartment
has all modern conveniences: central heating, gas, electricity, hot and cold water, telephone, elevator,
garbage chute.
Our apartment consists of three rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a hall. The apartment has a small hall
with a mirror, a telephone on a small table. Our apartment consists of a living room, a bedroom and my
room.
The rooms have parquet floors, and the kitchen has linoleum. There is a thick carpet on the floor in the living
room. All rooms are covered with wallpaper of different colors and patterns.
The living room is the most spacious and comfortable room in the whole apartment. This is a wide room with
balconies. There is a table in the middle of the room with several chairs around it. The room has a sofa, two
armchairs and a TV set on a stand on the left side. On the right side of the room is a closet, next to it is a
bookshelf.
The bedroom is smaller and not as bright. It has two beds, a wardrobe and a dressing table with a mirror.
The room I like the most is my study room. She is nice and comfortable. There is a bed, a desk and an
armchair. In the right corner is a bookcase full of books, magazines, newspapers.
The kitchen is conveniently equipped: there is a gas stove, a refrigerator, a deep sink, built-in wardrobes, a
table that can be folded when not in use. I really like our apartment.
