September 18th, 2011 To Mrs. Gorman Vice President of Marketing & Brand Strategy American Foods, Inc. 183 Main Street San Francisco, CA 94112 I am writing to tell you about the new Gobbly Gook cookie recipe which has a great potential to mass produce. After trying four cookies from different recipes, I think the recipe number 4 gives the most tasteful and delicious Gobbly Gook cookie. Attached to this letter are the recipe and my evaluation. I strongly believe Gobbly Gook cookie will be a hot product for Christmas. I worked on the recipe number 4 for Gobbly Gook cookie recipe last week and felt very pleased with the initial product. The recipe was pretty easy to follow with real simple ingredients and no baking procedure. Therefore, I believe that the cost of commercially producing this Gobbly Gook cookie will not be too high, and we can still have a new yummy interesting cookie product hitting for the coming Christmass sale. The cookie is very appealing and in a small portion, which is perfect for kids and our customers today who become more aware of nutrition and weight control. Moreover, Gobbly Gook is exactly a 3-in-1 cookie in which you can taste all the flavors of chocolate, peanut butter, and oatmeal in one bite. Besides, as the cookie does not need baking in the oven, it has a unique chewy texture which differs from regular cookies in the market. Thus, the cookie is not very crunchy or crispy, and cannot be easily cracked into small pieces during shipping or packaging. Also, Gobbly Gook cookie is extremely delicious with a moderate sweetness and a high percentage of oats. Customers will be very satisfied when they can get a cookie like Gobbly Gook which can fulfill their craving for sugar but is still healthy and nutritious. Last but not least, Gobbly Gook cookie does not contain egg, which can be a great choice for vegetarians or customers who are allergic to egg. With these outstanding features, I have confidence that this Goobly Gook cookie will be a very promising and profitable product at Christmas. I hope you will consider the mass producing potential of Gobbly Gook cookie and give me a response or feedback as soon as possible. Thank you.
