    TECHNICAL DATA-SHEET

    PRODUCT: FEVIKWIK GP
    DESCRIPTION: FEVIKWIK GP is a general purpose cyanoacrylate adhesive. This
    adhesive is unique in the sense it is the only single component instant bonding
    adhesive that cures at ambient conditions without requiring an external energy source.
    The instantaneous room temperature cure makes fixtures, ovens etc. unnecessary.
    The salient features of this adhesive are:
    • Easy to use
    • Sets in seconds
    • Adequate bond
    • Single component
    • Solvent free
    • Bonds wide variety of substrates
    • Room temperature Cure
    • Non Flammable

    It does not bond non-polar surfaces such as Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Silicone rubber, Teflon.
    The same surfaces can be bonded with Fevikwik GP after appropriate primer/surface treatment.

    APPLICATION AREA: It is widely used for bonding variety of substrates such as all
    types of metals and alloys, Plastics like ABS, PVC (rigid/plasticized), Polycarbonate,
    Delrin, Polystyrene, Epoxy, Bakelite, PU rigid foam etc. It gives excellent bonding on
    Rubber (neoprene), Cork, Ceramics, Pottery, Fabric, All types of wood, Leather,
    Leather Cloth etc. This multipurpose adhesive is useful in bonding various components
    e.g. making a rubber O-ring, Sticking name plates to equipment with plastic body,
    assembling plastic-knobs, fixing PVC/Rubber gaskets to metal parts in filters, fixing of
    small electronic components on the board and numerous such assembly operations
    which have to be fast and convenient.

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: For best results degrease/abrade and make sure the
    surface is clean and free from dirt, dust and contamination such as mould-release
    agents. Apply a thin film or a drop to one surface only and bring both parts together,
    holding firmly for a few seconds until the parts achieve handling strength.

    ABS-ABS : Substrate Failure
    UPVC-UPVC : Substrate Failure
    Teak Wood-Teak Wood : Substrate Failure

    CURE SPEED:
    Metal-Metal (MS, SS, Aluminium) : < 20 Seconds
    Metal-Metal (Brass, Copper) : <10 Seconds
    Plastic-Plastic (ABS, UPVC, HIPS) : <10 Seconds
    Rubber- Rubber (Neoprene) : < 5 Seconds
    Full Cure Time : 24 Hours at Room Temperature.

    STORAGE : Store in cool (<300C) area away from sunlight

    SHELF LIFE : 9 months under dry and cool storing condition in the sealed tube. Tube
    once opened shall be consumed within 45 days.

    SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
    1. KEEP AWAY FROM SMALL CHILDREN. It could be extremely hazardous if
    children get hold of tube of this adhesive.
    2. Take care while opening the tube and while using to avoid the adhesive
    entering eyes.
    3. This adhesive sets quickly on any surface it falls hence take care not to spill on
    furniture or clothes.
    4. Avoid spillage on clothes. Cover clothes with a polyethylene sheet while doing the
    bonding operation. It is difficult to salvage clothes affected by spillage of this
    adhesive.
    5. Fevikwik-GP bonds skin in seconds. If accidental skin bonding occurs, dip the
    affected part in lukewarm water and slowly pry the bonded skin apart. The residue
    on the skin will naturally fall off in a day or two. The cured residue is non-toxic.
    6. In case of eye contact, flush with ample water and seek immediate medical
    treatment.

    NOTE: We recommend that before using our product in full scale production, the customer should make his own tests to
    determine the suitability of the product under his/her operating conditions as the circumstances under which our product is
    stored, handled and used are beyond our control. Hence we can not assume any responsibility for the improper usage by the
    customer.
