Script A Diary of A Teenage Girl

INT.
BEDROOM
A Teenage Girl sitting at her desk and is seen writing in her

journal.
SCHOOL- CLASSROOM
TEENAGE GIRL wakes up to the loud noise of the school bell

alarming students to go to their next class. As she wakes up
the Teenage Girl looks down in concern as he teacher has
slammed two pieces of paper unto her desk. TEENAGE GIRL reads
the paper on her desk and realizes it's a detention slip.
INT. BEDROOM
Teenage Girl is sitting at her desk and is seen writing in

her journal.
CLASS HALLWAY
TEENAGE GIRL walks out the class unknowing her classmate is

behind her, and begins walking to her next class when her
classmate takes her by her shoulder and pushes her against
the wall to talk to her, preventing her from moving any
further. Classmate talks to the Teenage Girl and the Teenage
Girl simply stands there quietly and listens.
INT. BEDROOM

DETENTION CLASSROOM
TEENAGE GIRL is now sitting at a desk doing homework in

detention when CLASSMATE, who is sitting behind TEENAGE GIRL
rips a piece of paper out from her notebook and writes a
number onto the piece of paper and taps TEENAGE GIRL on her
back. TEENAGE GIRL looks back to see who tapped her and why.
CLASSMATE
Ya miss me? (Chuckles) Here. I got the
number for you. He can really hook you
up.
TEENAGE GIRL stares at the piece of paper hesitantly
CLASSMATE
Bro hurry up and grab the shit before
the teacher comes back.

TEENAGE GIRL grabs the paper and hurriedly puts it in her

paper. The teacher walks back into the classroom and instead
of going back to work, TEENAGE GIRL stares at her paper
anxiously unable to focus.
INT. BEDROOM

her journal.
INT. BEDROOM
TEENAGE GIRL, now in her bedroom, sits on her bed and tries
to do her homework. As time goes on she begins to get
frustrated with her work as she is unable to focus. She
closes her laptop in frustration and sits up in her bed. She
sees the pills she bought previously besides her. For a
moment, she thought about the risks and quickly shoved a pill
into her mouth while lying on her bed. She closes her eyes
for a minute and allows the world to go silence.
INT. BEDROOM

SCHOOL BATHROOM
A couple weeks have gone by and TEENAGE GIRL is in the stall

of her school bathroom. She takes the pills out of her
pocket, more than she had taken before and shoved them into
her mouth.
SCHOOL BATHROOM
Teenage Girl is seen again takes the pills from her hand into
her mouth on a different day.

INT. BEDROOM
TEENAGE GIRL is back home lying on her bed when she receives
a text from her mother letting her know how disappoint in the
Teenage Girl she is. She gets up from lying down on her bed
and grabs two full bottles of alcohol and two bottles of her
pills and throws them on her bed. She then sits down on her
bed and allows her self to cry briefly before grabbing an
indecent amount of pills, putting them in her mouth, and
washing them down with as much liquor she could possibly
drink in that moment in hopes of taking her own life. Finally
calm, she lies back on her bed and stares at the ceiling, at
this point she begins to "hear" her heartbeat. It gets louder
and faster but she allows her eyes to close.
INT. BEDROOM
TEENAGE GIRL sits up from her bed, heavy breathing and

scared, disorientated at first, when she realizes what she
had attempted to do. She immediately breaks down in tears. In
the midst of crying she realizes she still has her cross
necklace on. She then grabs it and looks up to the sky,
deciding where she is to go next.
INT. CHURCH
TEENAGE GIRL sits in the front row of the empty church alone
staring at the alter playing with her cross necklace around
her neck. She is so focused she doesn't see the priest sit
next to her until they start speaking in which then she turns
her head.
PRIEST
I have something for you. Something
tells me you need this.
The priest hands her a Bible and a journal. TEENAGE GIRL,

confused, looks back and forth at the priest and the Bible
and journal.
PRIEST
They're gonna tell you, you need
rehab. But all you need is right here.

PRIEST points to the Bible and notebook. TEENAGE GIRL looks

down at them and looks back up and the priest is no longer
there.
INT. BEDROOM

her journal.
INT. BEDROOM
Teenage Girl cuts her hair off and throws away her hair, the
pills, and the alcohol.
INT. BEDROOM

her journal for the last time. She signs off.
