13. River pollution happens when rivers get dirty from soaps, grass clipping, trash, pet waste, pesticides and fertilizers, dirt and oil. These are just some of the pollutants that make our river unhealthy for people and other animals.
14. Life would not be possible. All living organisms are directly or

indirectly dependent on water. Polluted water can be damaging to peoples health and to the health of the plants, animals and other creatures that live in and close to the water.
