1. Qualifications of Applicants
1.1 Graduate professors must be permanent professors who are eligible to be thesis
advisors and must have international journals in ISI (Web of Science) or SCOPUS database during the
period 2017 to present which were not work written in order to complete a professor’s graduation.
Professors who are above 58 but not over 60 years of age (as of the application closing date),
or professors who receive a permission to extend a civil service period or renew a contact over
60 years of age, must receive consent from their Head of Department allowing that selected
professors can use facilities and equipment until their international students graduate. Each
professor is eligible to apply for only one (1) scholarship per fiscal year.
1.2 International students must be approved to study in a thesis-oriented program.
He/she must receive a tuition fee support (or waiver) by the faculty (the amount may not be
full) throughout a scholarship period, as follows:
1.2.1 Master’s degree students must be approved to study since the second
semester, 2020 academic year and onward.
1.2.2 Doctoral degree students must be approved to study since the second
semester, 2019 academic year and onward.
2. Scholarship Allocations
3.1 Each thesis advisor is eligible to receive only one (1) scholarship per fiscal year.
3.2 Thesis advisor shall assist his/her student to graduate and submit his/her thesis or a
part of his/her thesis, which has the student’s name as a first author and the thesis advisor as a
corresponding author, to be published, or receive permission for publication in a journal,
according to the following criteria:
3.2.1 Master’s degree students: publication of work must take place according to the
graduation criteria stated in a Program Specification and in Kasetsart University regulations
regarding The Academic Regulations of Graduate Studies, Kasetsart University which comes into
effect of the year that students enroll.
3.2.2 Doctoral degree students: at least one (1) publication must take place in an
international academic journal which is shown in the ISI (Web of Science only in SCIE, SSCI, and
AHCI databases).
Doctoral degree students studying in the field of social sciences: at least one
(1) publication must take place in an international academic journal which is shown in the
SCOPUS database.
An international academic journal that can be used in order to complete the
scholarship condition must be a journal listed on journal databases the same year the work is
published or accepted to be published. Book series, conference series, or any publications in
the form of a collection of papers derived from other academic conferences cannot be used to
complete the student’s scholarship condition.
3.3 The thesis advisor must manage to pay monthly to the student and suspend the
payment if the student does not stay in Thailand more than 30 days.
3.4 Students must submit study and thesis progress reports that pass an evaluation form
a thesis advisor, in order to extend the scholarship into the following year. If the study and thesis
progress reports reveal a “Not Pass” result from the evaluation, The Graduate School is
permitted to end the scholarship extension, and students cannot re-apply for this scholarship.
3.5 Students must write in an Acknowledgement Section in your publications that “This
research is funded by Kasetsart University through the Graduate School Fellowship Program”.
3.6 In case that students under the supervision of Scholarship Receivers resign, are
dismissed, or cannot publish thesis works in accordance with the criteria, Scholarship Receivers
are required to return scholarship to the Scholarship Provider.

Professors and students who would like to apply for the scholarships must complete
application forms for professors and students in accordance with the prescribed format and
attach pertinent application documents for consideration. The application forms and the
application documents must only be converted in a PDF format and must be merged in
two separated files: one file is professor’s document set, and another one is student’s
document set. All files must be submitted via Google Form at https://bit.ly/3 G4 TSys by
Monday 28 February 2022 at 16:30. An email used for document submission must only be
a Kasetsart University account in the form of @ku.th or @ku.ac.th.
Applicants who have completely submitted application forms and documents will
receive reply emails notifying about the application status. Also, applicants can verify
application status from this link: https://bit.ly/3KK5rPc. The Graduate School will not consider
any overdue application forms. The decision made by The Board of The Graduate School is final.
