A. Name of Project
String Bites was founded by the joint forces of nine (9) people who are eager to
create and innovate a new food product. We came up with String Bites as the fries almost
represents a string and bites represents the customers taking a bite.
Business Logo
Our business logo, as shown above, was decided by all nine (9) people. We
brainstormed about what should be the design of our logo and we decided that it should
depict the main ingredient of our product, the banana. We believe that through this logo our
customers would be able to easily distinguish our product thus it should be easier to
remember.
“String Bites” is our main product. The banana in the upper center is our main
ingredient and the colors are chosen accordingly to its variety. The most dominant color, the
amber color represents our Classic Banana fries, the maroon color represents the Barbeque
Banana fries while the yellow color represents the Cheese Banana fries. With a tag line

Packaging and labelling are one of the key factors that affects the sales of a product.
Customer’s tend to look through the packaging before buying. The color of each packaging in
every variety is different. In our yellow packaging, it depicts the cheese flavor. Our amber
color is the classic flavored one while the maroon colored packaging is the barbeque flavor.
Through these colors, our customers will be able to remember our product easily. The team
came up with this strategy upon observing customers in the market. Moreover, the packaging
is aesthetically pleasing and reusable. Aside from that, the labelling was designed to seal and
secure the banana fries inside the container to keep it safe and prevent it from early spoilage.
Our customers can reuse the packaging thus upholding our goal to manage plastic waste in
everything we do. Informations of the product can be seen at the front of the packaging such
as the nutritional facts, the ingredients used, date of expiry, the manufactured date and the
team’s informations for contact purposes.

History
On April of 2024, the founding members of our team gathered to explore potential
business ventures. It was during this time that Ms. Monida proposed her innovative concept
of the String Bites that’s made by a banana. Recognizing the potential and uniqueness of this
idea, the team collectively decided to pursue it as our primary line of business. A while ago,
Ms. Valdueza shared with us that her grandfather owns a banana farm. This revelation
sparked excitement among us, as we realized the tremendous opportunity it presented to
reduce our expenses and source of high quality bananas for our business.
It was nearly a decade ago when Valdueza's grandfather, planted banana trees on his
farm. His love for farming paid off when the banana trees grew well under his care. Her
grandfather's banana farm is in a nice, sunny place where the soil is perfect for growing really
good bananas. For generations, the Valdueza family has nurtured this land, passing down
their agricultural knowledge from one generation to the next. However, despite their
dedication, they faced a challenge an abundance of ripe bananas with no viable market to sell
them to. And so, it was this time that Valdueza remembered her family's banana farm and
thought it could work well with our business. She saw that we needed good bananas, and they
had lots to offer. So, we decided to team up, make good bananas and respect Valdueza' s

String Bites
- is a banana fries that is cut thinly into crinkle sticks. It is then
added with 3 different kinds of flavors; classic, barbeque and
cheese. This is a good snack for all ages and can be brought when
traveling.
Processing Equipment: To make string bites, the bananas will be cut thinly into crinkle
sticks. It should not be deep fried in a long period of time so it will not be overcooked or
seared. Then after deep frying, it needs to be cooled down in room temperature with a tissue
under to avoid the banana fries from sagging, then the three (3) different flavors will be added
separately to have the three (3) varieties of flavors. After that, it will be transferred in their
respective containers.
Packaging: To maintain the safety and cleanliness of the banana fries, it is packed in a small-
sized, round Tupperware . This packaging prevent harmful substances from spoiling the
banana fries earlier as it should be. This will also ensure that the banana fries stays fresh and
crunchy until its expiry date. Also, in each packaging, there are different labels with different
colors emphasizing the three (3) different flavors.
Food Safety and Quality Control: To ensure the safety of the consumers of the product.
String Bites ensures that their banana fries are safe for consumption and are able to meet the
quality standard for food handling. From the beginning of the process, the team follows the
safety protocols in food handling to meet the best quality of the banana fries. Wearing of
