SECTION 3. HEALTH HAZARD DATA

Effects of Overexposure:

Primary Route of Exposure:

Eyes-skin-inhalation

Acute Effects:

Ingestion: In a confined area, vapours in high concentration are anaesthetic.

Irritant to eyes, skin and upper respiratory system.

Overexposure may result in light-headedness, staggering gait, giddiness and possible nausea. Contains petroleum
distillation.

Harmful or fatal if swallowed.

Chronic Effects:

Reports have associated repeated and prolonged overexposure to solvents with permanent brain and nervous system
damage, also kidney and liver damage.

SECTION 4. FIRST AID MEASURES

Inhalation:

Remove patient to fresh air.


Eyes:

Flush with water for at least 15 minutes.


Skin:

Wash with soap and water.


Ingestion:

Call a physician immediately. Do NOT induce vomiting.

Comments:

Treat according to person's condition and specifics of exposure.

Note to Physicians:

Treat symptomatically.
SECTION 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Extinguishing Media: CO2, dry chemical, foam.

Special Fire Fighting Procedures:

Water may be ineffective. Water may be used to keep fire exposed containers cool.

Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards:

Do not spray near open flame.

Keep at room temperature as exposure to direct sunlight or other heat may cause bursting.

SECTION 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Spill Management: Remove all sources of ignition. Ventilate, avoid breathing vapours and remove with inert absorbent.

Precautions to be taken in Handling and Storing:

-Do not store above 120°F.

-Keep at room temperature as exposure to direct sunlight or heat may cause bursting.

Respiratory:

Avoid breathing vapour or spray mist.


Eye Protection:
Safety glasses with side-shield.

Glove:

Solvent resistant gloves recommended.

Local exhaust is recommended.
