3. Hazard Identification of the Product

WHMIS Class: Class B - Division 5; Flammable aerosol


Class D - Division 2B; Class A - Compressed gas

Symptoms and Effects : Nausea, headache, weakness, fatigue and dizziness may occur following
ingestion.

4. First aid Procedures

Eye: Immediately flush with water. Remove contact lenses, if applicable, and continue
flushing with water for 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention if irritation persists.
Skin: Flush with water. Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Obtain medical attention if
irritation persists.
Inhalation: Not a normal route of harmful exposure. If symptoms develop, move victim to fresh air. If
symptoms persist, obtain medical attention.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water, and then drink one or two glasses of
water. Obtain medical attention. Never give anything by mouth to unconscious person.

5. Fire Fighting Measures

Flammability: Flammable aerosol

explode with heat.

6. Accidental Release Measures

Personal precautions: Not necessary under normal working conditions.


Procedures : Before attempting cleanup, refer to hazard data given above. Contact
emergency services and supplier for advice. Although the chance of a
significant spill or leak is unlikely in aerosol containers, in the event of such
an occurrence, absorb spilled material with a non-flammable absorbent such
as sand or vermiculite.

Keep out of reach of children. Store away from incompatible materials. Avoid heat, open flame and
sources of ignition during use and storage. Do not store above 49 C. Keep from freezing.
