    Verbo To Be en pasado

     Was
     wasn't Son formas pasadas del Verbo To Be
     were
     weren't

    To be past “was y were" se usan de la siguiente manera:

    I / he / she/ it → was/wasn't

    You /We/ they → were/weren't


    Afirmativo Negativo Interrogativo

    I was I wasn't Was I …?

    He was He wasn't Was he …?

    She was She wasn't Was she …?

    It was It wasn't Was It …?

    You were You weren't Were you …?

    We were We Weren't Were we …?

    They were They Weren't Were they..?

    La estructura para formar oraciones con verbo to be es la siguiente:

     Oraciones Positivas:
    Sujeto + verbo to be + complemento
     Oraciones Negativas:

    Sujeto + verbo to be + not + complemento

    Ejemplos:

    1. I was at school / Yo estaba en el colegio


    2. He wasn't a musician / El no era musico
    3. They were home / Ellos estaban en casa
    4. We weren't friends before / Nosotros no éramos amigos antes
    Verbos regulares
     Forman el pasado añadiendo la terminación “ – ed “

     El verbo termina en “e” se le agrega “ – d ”


    Ejemplo: Asolve Asolved
     El verbo termina en "y" precedido de consonante, se cambia la "y" por "i" y
    se le añade "-ed".
    Ejemplo: Estudy Estudied.

    Ejemplos de verbos regulares:

    - Work Worked . - Play Played

    - Like Liked - Rub Rubbed

    - Live Lived - Estudy Estudied

    - Look Looked - Try Tried

    - Use Used - Watch Watche

    - Travel Travelled - Start Started

    - Stop Stoppeed - Publish Published

    Verbos Irregulares
    Ejemplos:

    - Buy Bought - Take Took

    - Do Did - See Saw

    - Eat Ate - White Wrote.

    - Go Went -Have Had

    - Meet Met - Begin Began
