    Attending webinars on sustainability in the context of management accounting program I am


    currently taking offers a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of financial management and
    skills needed in the real-world situation. These webinars provided insights into how management
    accountant students can contribute to sustainable business practices by integrating sustainability into
    decision-making processes. By attending these webinars, I have gained valuable knowledge and
    skills that are increasingly relevant in today’s accounting and business landscape where sustainability
    is a key driver of long-term success.

    The first webinar I attended entitled "UtACCay: Accounting Crash Course" provided a
    comprehensive review of essential accounting software used by companies, making it an invaluable
    resource for applying work in the future. Deeper understanding about advanced accounting tools that
    students should know about was tackled because it has a big factor in doing work efficiently besides
    having the knowledge in basic accounting concepts and theories. The webinar also highlighted the
    importance of smart utilization of Artificial Intelligence where accountants should develop skills in
    AI technologies to remain competitive in the evolving digital landscape of accounting. It makes the
    work easier for accountants transitioning from clerical work to higher level value of work to provide
    advice and analysis for a business. The speaker also introduced a cloud-based accounting system
    which is XERO that is designed for small and medium-sized entities that can be used by non-
    accountants. It is simplified for businesses to easily understand their operations.

    The second webinar entitled “Webinar on Financial Literacy Management: Empowering


    Filipinos in Building Sustainable Wealth and Securing a Bright Financial Future” highlighted key
    strategies for individuals to improve their financial literacy and achieve sustainable wealth. I have
    learned about the importance of budgeting, saving, and investing wisely to secure my financial
    future. The webinar emphasized the role of financial education in empowering Filipinos to make
    informed financial decisions and avoid common difficulties. Moreover, it underscored the
    significance of planning for retirement and protecting against financial risks. One of the money
    problems of Filipinos include spending spontaneously without a plan with 33% of Filipinos spending
    more than they earn and 54% do not have a budget as surveyed by BSP Financial Inclusion Survey
    (2021). Because of this, it contributes to more challenges which is weak savings culture with 63%
    of the population admitting that they do not have savings. With this, the webinar provided practical

    insights and tools to help Filipinos build a strong financial foundation and work towards a brighter
    financial future.

    The third webinar entitled “Insight to Experience: A Way to Succeed” provided priceless
    insights for developing one's career. The necessity of adaptability in a world that is constantly
    changing, the significance of continuing learning and self-improvement, and the significance of
    resilience in overcoming obstacles were among the most important lessons I learned. The importance
    of mentoring in assisting someone on their path to success and the role that experience plays in
    acquiring knowledge were highlighted by the speaker. The webinar also emphasized the value of
    persistence, the need to welcome change, and the contribution of a positive outlook for goal
    achievement. Upon attending the webinar, I am urged to use all my experiences, either good or bad
    as steppingstones to a successful career and contentment in life.

    I have acquired insightful knowledge and practical skills from attending webinars on career
    development, financial literacy, and sustainability. These topics can be used to both my personal and
    professional development, with a particular emphasis on sustainability. From the "UtACCay:
    Accounting Crash Course," I learned about essential accounting software and advanced tools,
    emphasizing the importance of AI skills and cloud-based accounting systems. I can use this
    knowledge to stay competitive in the digital landscape and contribute to sustainable business
    practices through efficient financial management. The "Webinar on Financial Literacy Management"
    highlighted the importance of budgeting, saving, and investing wisely, addressing common financial
    challenges faced by Filipinos. I can apply these strategies to secure my financial future and promote
    financial literacy in my community, contributing to economic sustainability. Lastly, the "Insight to
    Experience" webinar emphasized the importance of adaptability, continuous learning, and resilience
    in career development. I can use these insights to navigate challenges, seek mentorship, and leverage
    my experiences for personal and professional growth, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable
    and fulfilling career path.
