INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES 1. Candidate must bring Admit Card along with One ID Proof Driving License / Passport / Govt. issued IDcard (preferably Aadhaar Card) with him/her to secure Admission to the examination hall/room.If a candidate fails to bring above documents, he/she would not be admitted in the examination centre and his/her candidature could be cancelled. 2. Inside the test venue, the candidate must ensure that he/she has signed on the attendance sheet and his/her biometrics have been duly captured. 3. There shall be one paper consisting of 150 single Response Multiple Choice Questions. 4. Negative marking will be applicable and deduction of 0.25 marks will be made for each incorrect response/wrongly marked response. 5. There should not be any extra writing on answer-sheets. 6. There should not be copying of any kind. The candidates found indulging in malpractices / impersonation will be disqualified and legal action will be taken as per law. 7. No scrutiny/Revaluation of the answer book of the entrance test shall be allowed on any ground. 8. Pen will be provided at the Examination Venue. 9. The candidates should not possess any paper except Admit-card in the examination & Photo ID Proof in original 10. Candidates will be allowed to leave the examination hall only after completion of examination time. 11. In case, signature printed on the admit card below / along with the photo is not available / visible, the candidate should sign on the admit card below the photograph and get attested by a gazetted officer, well in advance 12. Candidates, will have to remove their masks for verification during videography and whenever required by the invigilator. 13. It is responsibility of the candidate that on completion of the examination, candidates must hand over the OMR sheets and admit card to the invigilator. 14. Pocketbooks, handbags, books, notes, written or printed material, CDs or data of any kind will not be allowed in the examination premises. 15. Candidates are advised not to bring any valuable / costly items and bags to the examination Venue, as safe keeping of the same cannot be assured. Religious symbols like Kada, Mangalsutra, Kanga etc. are exempt at the time of Frisking. 16. No candidate shall give or receive aid from any other applicant or source during the examination. No Candidate should adopt or indulge in any unfair examination practices. 17. In case any candidate is found breaching hall discipline and/or found having used unfair means which directly or indirectly disturb the sanctity of the examination, his / her candidature shall be cancelled and action as deemed fit will be taken. The decision of the examination board in imposing penalty for the offence committed by the candidate shall be final and binding on him / her. 18. Candidates are allowed to take question paper with them after completion of examination. 19. No candidate would be allowed to enter the examination centre, without the admit card and valid above mentioned ID Proof. 20. Candidates are advised to carry only the following items with them to the examination venue: a. Valid Photo ID proof in original. b. Candidate should carry his/her transparent Sanitizer Bottle upto 50ml. c. Candidate should carry his/her transparent Water Bottle upto 500ml. d. Additional photographs (if photo in the admit card is not available / clear). 21. No candidate shall be permitted to enter the centre after the gate closing time. 22. On completion of the examination, the candidates will be permitted to move out in an orderly manner one candidate at a time. They must wait for instructions from invigilator and should not leave the seat untill advised. 23 Mere issue of Admit Card or appearing in the written test does not imply that candidate is eligible for the post of Junior Basic Teachers(JBT). Admission to all stages of recruitment process shall be purely provisional, subject to the candidates satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions as mentioned in the advertisement. 24 Candidate must ensure that he/she fulfils all the eligibility conditions mentioned in the advertisement. Note: Hon'ble Punjab & Haryana High Court in CWP No. 7704 of 2024 vide order dated 18/04/2024 has directed that the selection of JBT Teachers in pursuance of Advt. No. 06/2023 shall be subject to the final outcome of O.A.No.-130/2024.
