1 Introduction
This document forms part of the process of the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of an Adsorption Dryer unit.
For details please refer to the function test procedure in the IMS (Function test instruction)
Inspections will be carried out against the latest revision of the relevant documents and drawings with as a minimum
Process and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), Electrical Wiring Diagram and General Arrangement Drawing (GA)
All checked and accepted items shall be marked on the drawing with green (“highlight marker”).
If a section is not applicable to the product being tested, tick the “Not applicable” check point in the appropriate
section.
All deviations from the drawing or testing shall be indicated on the drawing with Red, Blue or orange;
Red for wrong information (info to be deleted)
Orange for items not present during test, thus not tested.
Blue for correct information (info to be added)
Remarks shall be written in clouds on the drawing
All accepted deviations shall be updated on the “AS BUILT” drawing.

5 Functional test
After all set points and alarms are tested, a complete functional test of the Adsorption Dryer Package will be performed
as per this document.
The alarms and controls will be tested and documented according appendix I.
Test certificate will be filled-in and signed by Atlas Copco and customer’s inspection representative according appendix II.
Deviations / punch list item, if applicable, will be documented in the project punch list.
