Mains connection
In order to have a proper commisioning, it´s advisable to pass mains wires from the right hand side of the machine.
The recommended cable is a three wires one with mininum wire section of 2,5.
The power supply unit is integrated by a transformer, Ni Cd batteries and switch board unit which has an ON /OFF
switch, a network filter and a 2 A protection fuse. To remove the fuse you have to take out the plastic cover.
Warning: Ensure to remove the mains before connecting power supply wires.
Pass the cable over the cable gland and then clip it into the support profile and take it to the power supply unit.
In order to eliminate electrical derivation and static tension it´s recommended to connect ground wire to the chasis or
support profile.
Description
Ni Cd batteries, with 24V supply and 800 mAh power.
Main function
The main function of batteries is to open the door when power supply goes down. The door will remain open while
power is down. When the power returns the door will go back to the function mode it has before power fall.
In the following working modes, “automatic”, “exit”, “ winter “ and “door open” whe the power goes down it open with
batteries in 5 seconds. Once the door is open, the door remain open in “manual” mode and the selector display
indicates “Error 17”.
In “close door” mode, when power supply goes down the door remains closed. In “manual” mode, the door also remains
in “manual” mode.
15
Stadby mode
When power supply goes down batteries give power to the control board for one hour. After that, batteries pass to a
“standby mode”, where devices are not supplied and the control board pass to a “sleep” mode.
To wake up from “sleep” mode, it is needed a signal from open impulde ( KB) or close impulse ( KC). With both inputs
the batteries can be activated to open or close the door.
Photocell connection
Photocells avoid people from traping by the leaves in the closing cycle, stoping the door and opening inmediately when
detects anyone in the closing area. The door remain open while photocells continue detecting any person or obstacle.
- Connections:
- Photocell setup
The photocells should have a test input that allow to monitorize them to know they are working properly. So, by
default, the input should be set up “ with test”. Before every single cycle of closing the control board ask to the
photocell if it´s properly.
Nevertheless, operator can work with photocells without test seting up input “without test”. It must be set by digital
selector :

Digital selector
The digital selector is the device to comunícate the user with the control board. It allow us to do the following tasks:
Digital selector has 6 buttons and a display where we can see and adjust the diferent optiond of the operator. The
display is usually in energy safe mode with low light, but as we push any button the display swicht on and we can set
any parameter.
- During the operator functioning the digital selector display indicates the current working mode.
22
Settings and configuration with digital selector is explained in the chapter 9.
Key selector
As teh digital selector, key selector is a interface to comunicate with control board, but a limited functions. It´s not
possible to set up the control board and adjust the parameters. These are the functions that are possible to do:
2.- Error diagnosis. You can´t know the specifica error mode. You can only know if it has an error because the led
bliping faster than during a proper working.
The key selector has a 6 position switch with the following working modes: automatic, door open, door close, winter, exit
and manual mode. It has also a “hidden” reset buttonand a led to inicate if it is working properly or it has an error.
23
Open impulse / close impulse ( external key)
These two inputs enable to open and close the door apart from the usual working modes from the selector. Inputs are
impulsive and have priority over working modes and other inputs. KB input enables the door opening and KC input door
closing.
There are different devices that we can connect to these inputs. One of the more usual is the external key. The external
key has two positions. One to connect to KB to open the door and the other to connect to KC to close the door. In the
same way, we can connect oyher devices as card readers, transponders, access controls…
Each pulse of KC run the door to close position from any working mode. To exit from “nigt mode” the only way is to
activate KB input.
In case of network power failure, every pulse from KC run door to close position with batteries.
24
- Connection:
Open impulse
Close impulse
PI 2: Panic breakout
PI 2 input, by default, is programed as panic breakout input for panic breakout frames. The magnetic contact of the
profile has to be conected to this input. When the magnetic contact is opened the door will go to open position and
remain open until the signal of the magnetic contact change.

8. SET UP
Once the operator is installed, suplied from the network , connected all sensors , devices and digital selector ( as
indicates chapter 7.3), follow the next steps to run the set up:
2.- Ensure the door starts a closing maneuver at slow motion. At the same time, digital selector swtich on and after
some seconds viewing “Erreka” icon in the display, it will pass to view “reset” icon. Reset maneuver is an complete open
and close cycle at slow motion.
3.- Once “reset” is finished, door run to “automatic” mode. In the display we will see the “automatic” icon.
4.- We will see “Error 01” in the display. This error means “set up” is not done. So the first think is to run “set up”. The
operator can´t start working until “set up” is completed.
5.- Push , , and buttons together during one second to enter into “technical menu”.
6.- Once inside “technical menu” push OK button twice to run “set up”. The push C ( cancelle or back)
.
7.- Operator starts a opening and closing cycle at slow motion and the other opening and closing cycle at normal speed.
We can see in the display “set up” icon. In the “set up” the operator inicialize all parameters, door weight and opening
point.
8.- After “set up”operator run to “automatic” mode. Once “set up” finished it´s possible to adjust any parameter or
configure any option of the door.
26
8.1 Working modes
These are the different type of operation or states the door can work. There 6 different working modes that can be
selected by digitak or key selector:
The door opens and remains open in the maximum opening position.
This is the most common way of working. This mode allows traffic in both directions, so that all the detection devices are
enabled. The door remains closed until one of the devices is not activated. If any of these activates the door, it opens
and after a hold-open time (adjustable) it is closed again until further detection.
It allows traffic to exit in the outside direction. In this direction, it works as "Two-way automatic" and in the entry mode
"Door Closed ".
It has the same functioning as in “automatic” mode but with a reduced or partial opening distance. This opening distance
can be adjusted by digital selector. By default is 70% of the maximum opening distance.
Winter mode functioning is different with digital selector or key selector. With digital selector when we push “winter
mode” it will work in partial opening in these working modes : “automatic, “exit” and “door open”.
With key selector “winter mode” only works in automatic.
In manual mode, the door stop and release the motor. Thanks to that, the door can be esaily moved manually and leave
in the position you need. It´s very usefull if it is instaled a manual lock, so that the leaves can be moved easily.
When you change to other working mode, the door goes to close position in slow motion and the change the mode.
27
9. PARAMETER ADJUSTING FROM SELECTOR
