Modalities in
competition
● Mixed groups (from 3 to 9
components).
● Couples: mixed (a boy and
a girl), female and male
Safety measures
as for example that the figures must
be performed on mats or sand but
never on hard surfaces, because if a
member of the group falls, he/she
can be seriously injured.
● Nor can shoes be worn during an
Acrosport session. If a member of the
figure climbs on top of another with
slippers on, it hurts him/her more
than without them.
● The body position of the back is also
very important.
Roles of the participants Portor:
in the figures ● They are the bases of the pyramids and must support the agile,
for this they must maintain as much stability as possible.
Agile:
● Performs the agility work by climbing on the portor to adopt a
stable and aesthetic posture. Depending on the figure to be
executed, the following actions can be performed
● In those figures or pyramids of high complexity or risk two new
roles appear:
Helper:
● Acts quickly when a portor or agile has difficulties to maintain
the pyramid/figure. He can also serve as a support to the portor
to help him to maintain his position. Likewise, he can support
the agile while climbing on the portor, to help him to adopt his
posture or to maintain it. It picks up the agile in case of a fall.
Observer:
● Observes the work of his companions and provides advice to
improve the figure or pyramid (basically a reserve).
●
