IV. PROCEDURE
A. Motivation UNLOCKING OF DIFFICULT TERMS
Learners will arrange the jumbled letters. Once assembled, they will read the meaning of each word.

 ETHNIC GROUP- are group of people who view each other as part of the same people due to having a common culture, history,
language, ancestry, religion.

 INDIGENOUS - are group of people that lived in a specific area before another group arrived. It is derived from the Latin word
'indigena' meaning 'native to the land' or first people of the land.
B. Activity:
Review previous lesson/  Ask the learners to read the short selection.

“Amihan is born and raised in the river valley of Agusan. She is a young member of the Lumad tribe. As she grows older and goes to
different places outside their village, Amihan discovers that there are people who look and act differently from their tribe. Their clothing,
spoken language, and manners are different from them. She is curious as to why these people do not follow the culture of her tribe.”
