Our Main Focus
TO CONNECT
Ultimately we want all students
to get connected to the Vedic
traditions of knowledge, and
become leaders of value-
based education and social
upliftment.

TO SERVE
All students are constantly
reminded and made to
understand that a primary
goal of life is to render
service to those who need
help the most, while
surrendering to the Supreme
Lord and our great Acharyas.
Four components
EXCEL IN ACADEMICS:
PERSONALISED COACHING
LEARNING

Our goal is for students to progress to the level of

Ghana Pathakas (the highest level of metrical
chanting) in Veda, or Vidwans (recognised
scholars) in Agama. They are also encouraged to
complete their board exams, and continue
onwards to get a University Degree, upto Ph.D.

All children are assessed, and a personalised

plan is developed and executed to suit their
specific learning requirements.

LEARN OUR SAMPRADYAM:

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
TRADITION

All students are taught Sanskrit and Tamil

stotrams (hymns), Vedic rituals, and a life-style
based on the tenets of Sanatana Dharma. They
are taught to observe the daily duties of a Vedic
student, and develop a mood of service.

There is a clear approach for character

development to progress towards righteous
virtues such as integrity, cleanliness, patience,
respect, austerity, faithfulness, and peacefulness.

BE ACTIVE AND SERVE:

FUN, GAMES AND SERVICE
RECREATION

On weekly days-off and holidays, the students

engage in team-building games, go on
educational trips, or visit Vedic scholars and
masters to learn.

Students help every day in cleaning the premises,

serving prasadam (sanctified meals) and tidying
up, to imbibe a sense of service and support.

UPSKILL AND EVOLVE

ADVENTURE

THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX

Students often go on field-trips to other
locations such as Kanchipuram, Srirangam,
and Tirumalai to attend cultural festivals, and
learn from seniors.

Several Patashala students travelled to

Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi and other cities to
participate in educational camps.

We also conduct interactive team building

activities to increase their self-learning spirit.

Students have several career paths:

University careers as teachers,

researchers, or lecturers, after
completing post-graduate degrees
or a Ph.D

Temple Priests or archakars, after

qualifying as Agama experts in deity
worship and installations

Family proests who conduct

Upadhyayam or rites of passage

Parayanam experts who chant

Vedas, or preachers who conduct
