    SUBJECT: New integral sideshifters


    PURPOSE: Provide listing of service parts for factory-installed sideshifters

    BACKGROUND: On previous models, factory sideshifter service parts (except for the connecting
    hoses) were supplied by Cascade Corp.

    The current P3000-P7000 models all utilize a factory integral sideshifter, for which
    service parts will be supplied through MCFNET®.

    The initial Parts Manuals for the above models do not contain parts listings for
    optional equipment. The sideshifter, being an option, is therefore not shown.

    PROCEDURE: Page 2 contains a general exploded view of the parts that are common to all
    the integral sideshifters for all these models.

    Pages 3 to 5 list variable parts by mast type. The views are from the FRONT of the
    truck.

    NOTE: Unlike the previous models which had one or two sideshifters per class
    and lift bracket width, these models have a total of 27 sideshifter configurations:
    21 that are standard width, and 6 that are extra wide width.

    A complete listing will be published in several weeks via an update to this e-PSB.

    SERVICE NOTES:
    1) The cylinder barrel is integral with the mast lift bracket portion of the sideshifter
    assembly. If it becomes damaged beyond use, it will be necessary to replace the
    complete assembly. Once they are announced as a not installed option, these
    assemblies can be ordered through Machine Order (not MCFNET).
    2) Periodic service/inspection information is shown on page 6.
