At the end of the lesson the students are expected to:
a) Identify the different seasons in the Philippines
b) State the effects of the different seasons to human activities
c) Present a picture about the different seasons in the Philippines

Seasons in the Philippines

Season- is the period of the year that usually characterized by a particular kind of weather.
Two kinds of seasons
Wet season- is characterized by a pronounced rainy season with thunderstorm. Wet season starts in June
and peaks in July to September.
Dry season- is characterized by hot and cloudless days. Between January and May, the climate is
generally dry with occasional rain showers.
