Given below are the sample manga panel arrangement per page. Choose 2 from it and in a short bond paper create
a manga on how fertilization takes place noting the following:
1. Starts with the sperms already at the entrance of the vagina canal.
2. Emphasize the trials the sperms encounter to reach their destination.
3. End the manga when a lone sperm reaches and enters the egg cell.
4. Do it exaggeratedly, creatively but there is still underlying scientific concept.
5. You can either hand drawn it or digitalize it.

Activity 3: Interview
Interview a woman you knew who is currently pregnant or a woman who already had a baby. Make sure to
ask them first if they will be willing to do so. You can interview your mother, but if this is not possible or you find it
uncomfortable, you may interview another relative or family friend. You may ask them with minimum if 5 questions
you personally created but make sure it revolves around the following:
The physical and emotional signs experience before, during and after pregnancy
The prenatal care received from the doctor or midwife.
What was it like to be pregnant and to give birth?
The goal of this activity is for you to learn and gain insights with regards on the maternity and having a
human life growing within another person. From that interview write a 1-page reflection highlighting the answers of
your interviewee (as much as possible transcribe the answers on your respondents) and your perception or insights
about it. To ensure that you didn’t just make up the answers, I would ask for a proof in the form of video, voice
recording or picture but of course, before taking any of those, make sure to ask your interviewee a permission. You
can also blur her face to ensure the confidentiality and privacy if it is deemed necessary.
