Renovations to the Shell Annex continue and we are looking forward to when they will be complete.

Just as the work there continues, so the work of the Lord continues in His church. Now is not the time to be slack in our tithes and offerings. We must not neglect the work of the Lord in order to complete the project before us. Both should be done in conjunction. I am concerned that some are using their tithe or offering for the special project. Please consider not doing so. Your regular tithes and offerings go to continue the ministries of the church and commitments the church has made. A gift above that should go toward the Shell Annex renovation. God has called us to be faithful and has given us this opportunity to show our faithfulness. I believe He will bless us beyond our comprehension as we are faithful in our stewardship before Him. April 1, will mark the completion of five years as your Pastor at First Baptist Church of Bainbridge. I am so thankful for Gods blessings upon us during this time. Together we have seen God bless us in numerous ways. I believe this is just the beginning of what He want to do through us and with us. I look forward to many more years of service to the King in this His vineyard. God bless each of you. I look forward to seeing you this Sunday. Paul

Awana Schedule for April and May

The invitation to be a part of the Music Ministry of FBC is always open. Membership is available to each music group and commitment is expected from each member. Im inspired by a quote from Theodore Roosevelt hanging in my office:

Sunday Night Youth Activities We will not have SHOCKWAVE, Interpretive Movement, or Junction 56 because of Spring Break this weekend. Hope everybody has a great vacation and comes back refreshed to do Gods work For SNAC, those who are at church will just go out to eat together afterward. Wednesday Nights We will not have any youth activities this Wednesday because the youth will be at Wild Adventures. We will leave at 8:30 a.m. and will return between 6 and 7. Cost is $30 for those without season passes and $5 for those with them. April 13th will be the Youth musical so we will all meet in the sanctuary following dinner for this great event. Shockwave Make sure that you are at practice on April 10th because it will be the last one before the performance. We will be going to the Aldridges afterward for SNAC on this night. In Christ, Al

No Awana (Spring Break) Will be our last meeting for the spring. Will be our Awana Awards Night in the sanctuary 7:00 p.m.

It is not the critic who counts, nor the man who points out how the strong man stumbled, or where the doer of deeds could have done better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly, who errs and comes short again and again, who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, and spends himself in a worthy cause, who at best knows achievement and who at the worst if he fails at least fails while daring greatly so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.
BONUS REHEARSALS - EASTER MUSICAL The Cooper House is the location for this weeks bonus rehearsal. 5 p.m. is the meeting time and TENOR and BASS singers. See you there. FELLOWSHIP CLUB Join us at our next meeting which is scheduled for Monday, April 4. Lynn Ray will be performing and leading us.
