About Yuva Chapter:

Yuva Chapter is directly associated under the CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) which is
a not-for-profit industry-led organisation.
YUVA, an integral part of Yi (Young Indians) embodies the spirit of youth activism and
entrepreneurship.
Standing for Youth Unite for Voluntary Action,
YUVA provides opportunities for skill development, leadership training, and personal growth,
empowering volunteers to become agents of change in their own right.

Yuva Chapter Ramanujan College is divided amongst 5 different Verticals focus on different
key areas of our environment, they include
1. Learning Vertical: This Vertical promotes intellectual learning of the students with
local administration, learning workshops, and peer-to-peer interactions.

2. Accessibility vertical: Yuva Chapter through this vertical addresses’ health


disparities and challenges inclusivity and aims for a healthy India till 2030

3. Thalir Vertical: Thalir is dedicated to the holistic development of infants & school
going children, shaping them into responsible citizens

4. Entrepreneurship and Innovation vertical: The Entrepreneurship and Innovation


Vertical is a catalyst for emerging talents. By offering mentorship, market access, and
inspiration.

5. Membership vertical: Membership vertical offers an unparalleled opportunity for


international exposure and connections through our various events and student
exchange programs.

What is the Objective of the Event:


The main objective of the event is for the students to create various connections in the
college and go beyond their college books. The event will also promote leadership
opportunities as well as will help them in showcasing their talent through various events
which will be conducted. It will help the students in gaining exposure vis-a-vis gaining an
insight into the working of the Yuva Chapter.

In the event Odyssey-24 the focus will not be restricted to one particular niche rather we will
organise programs from various disciplines which will provide opportunities for everybody.

Event Details:

1. Commerce Educators Panel Discussion:

This event aims to provide our students with valuable insights and practical wisdom from
esteemed speakers in the field of commerce.

The Commerce Educator's Panel Discussion will feature renowned industry experts such as
Sunil Panda, Rajat Arora, Shikshadham, and CA Parag Gupta. Through engaging panel
discussion, and fun learning games. Through this event students will have the chance to
delve deep into various aspects of commerce, gaining invaluable guidance to navigate the
complexities of the commercial world through their real-life mentors.

We firmly believe that participation in this event has the potential to unlock billionaire
potential for our students by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and insights
necessary to excel in the world of commerce.
Therefore, we seek your approval to organise the Commerce Educator's Speaker Session at
our college

2. Viksit Bharat Policy Paper

The event "Viksit Bharat: Policy Paper Presentation X Mock conference," aims to generate
useful insights for India's growth and encourage positive discourse. Teams of five people
including a chosen media representative will get together for this event to present creative
changes or proposals for India's advancement towards being a developed nation.
Groups will carefully draft policy papers outlining their suggested plans or reforms, utilizing
in-depth investigation, data analysis, and strategic planning. These essays will cover a range
of topics important to India's development, including infrastructure, governance, healthcare,
education, and the economy.

Teams will submit their policy papers to a distinguished panel of judges and other
participants on the day of the event. The selected media representative from each squad will
next participate in a rigorous cross-questioning session, exploring the strengths,
weaknesses, and potential impacts of the proposed reforms or plans.

The expected outcomes of this initiative include identifying promising policy initiatives to
advance India towards becoming a developed nation, gaining a deeper understanding of the
diverse challenges and opportunities across key sectors, and creating a platform for
continuous discussion and collaboration on India's development.

3. Rebranding Competition:

The rebranding competition aimed at nurturing the creative talents and business acumen of
our students while addressing real-world challenges faced by companies in today's
competitive marketplace. The competition will task participants with selecting a dormant or
struggling company and developing a comprehensive rebranding strategy to revitalize its
brand identity, reignite consumer interest, and propel it towards renewed success. Through
this initiative, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their marketing prowess,
design expertise, and business acumen as they craft innovative solutions to rejuvenate
existing brands.

This competition offers a unique and exciting challenge, providing valuable learning
opportunities and industry exposure for the students. Participants will have the chance to
hone their skills, expand their professional networks, and gain invaluable experience that will
serve them well in their future careers. By engaging in this competition, students will develop
critical thinking skills, creativity, and teamwork abilities essential for success in the dynamic
world of marketing and business. Therefore, we seek your approval to organise the
Rebranding Competition at our college.

4. Shark Tank Speaker Session

In this Event students will get the rare chance to see real-world entrepreneurship in action
during the Shark Tank Speaker Session, students will interact with a panel of renowned
"sharks” (Angel investors) who have attained extraordinary success in their various
industries.

Students will acquire a deeper grasp of the entrepreneurial journey from ideation and
innovation to execution and investment—through engaging speaker sessions and interactive
discussions.

They will also get the opportunity to present their own business ideas and get helpful
criticism and direction from the panel of professionals at this session. Students who attend
the speaker session will not only learn a great deal about the world of entrepreneurship, but
they will also get to network with other like-minded students and experts in the field, setting
the groundwork for the future.

5. Open Mic Competition

The Thalir Vertical Open Mic Competition, is an initiative aimed at providing a valuable
platform express their talents and voices on “child safety and development” within our
esteemed institution. Our mission is deeply rooted in encouraging creativity and self-
expression, promoting child safety and this competition aligns perfectly with these core
values.

The Open Mic Competition offers students a rare opportunity to develop their public
speaking abilities through poetry, standup, monologue, rap, singing, storytelling,etc. On child
safety and development.
This will unleash their creativity in a supportive and inclusive environment. Participants can
freely express their unique perspectives and connect with their peers on a deeper level. This
transformative experience not only nurtures confidence and effective communication skills
but also encourages students to find their voices and establish meaningful connections
within the college community. We are confident that this event will enrich the student
experience and contribute to the vibrant culture of our institution.

6. Workshop on Mental Health

To address the growing concern about mental health among students in today's fast-paced
environment, we plan to organise an interactive workshop guided by experienced mental
health specialists. This program seeks to offer students a safe and supportive atmosphere in
which to examine various aspects of mental health, such as stress management, self-care
practices, and coping methods. Participants will be able to learn practical strategies to
improve their emotional resilience and understanding of mental health issues through
engaging workshops, eliminating stigma and encouraging open discourse within the student
community.

By attending this workshop, students will not only prioritise their mental well-being but also
cultivate a supportive network of peers and mentors, with more tools and resources at their
disposal, participants will be more capable of overcoming obstacles in life with courage and

resilience, helping to create a welcoming campus community where all students are made to
feel important and supported.

7. Blood Donation Drive

We are thrilled to introduce to you an impactful initiative aimed at promoting accessibility and
saving lives - the Blood Donation Drive. As part of our Accessibility vertical, this drive seeks
to create awareness about the importance of blood donation and encourage students to
contribute towards this noble cause.

The Blood Donation Drive will provide students with a unique opportunity to make a
meaningful impact on the lives of others. By participating in this drive, students will not only
have the chance to donate blood and potentially save lives but also gain valuable insights
into the significance of humanitarian efforts and community engagement. Additionally,
students will benefit from the experience of giving back to society, fostering a sense of
empathy, altruism, and social responsibility that will stay with them throughout their lives.
Therefore, we seek your approval to organise the Blood Donation Drive at our college.

8. Yi Delhi Symposium

The Yi Delhi Symposium, formerly known as the Yi Leaders Lounge session, aims to
promote meaningful debates on critical industry concerns that arise on a daily basis. These
leaders will provide some insights regarding working at Yi and CII.

The symposium will be hosted by notable industry figures such as Mr. Mayank Makkar, Yi
Delhi Chair, Mr. Tushar Aggarwal, Yi Delhi Co-Chair, Mr. Anuj Singhal, Yuva Delhi Chair,
and Mr. Dipen Gupta, Yuva Delhi Co-chair. They will lead a vibrant discussion about
innovative tactics and best practices for revitalizing failing or defunct businesses. Attendees
will have a unique opportunity to learn from seasoned leaders who have successfully
handled problems in today's fast-paced corporate climate.

How these events will help the Students:


The extensive scope of these events spans various niches, ensuring diverse footfall from
different departments and attracting numerous students from colleges in Delhi. Attendees
will have a chance to interact with various personalities whom they may regard as mentors.
This exposure will provide valuable learning opportunities tailored to their interests, enriching
their educational experience.
