Mid April - May ● Organise 2 - 3 Activities like Speaker sessions, workshops and share Experiences of
Cadets who has been to Camps
● To Introduce all Camps and it's procedure after collaboration with Cadets who has been
to those Camps, so that Cadets can prepare for them in advance and envision their
pathway
● Ensure Ground practices continue seamlessly for this batch
June - July ● Break time but ensure that Cadets stay in touch with NCC
● Organise 1 - 2 informal meets to gather Feedback and Ideation for Activities that Cadets
want to be organised and foster bonding
August - September
Orientation for first years -
● Create a documentary of NCC LSR with help of Media team to have a lasting
impact on First years
● Encourage more active participation and clarify doubts and fears that First years
usually have
Selection procedure -
● Start with the selection procedure and ensure that we get best and dedicated Cadets
● Try to sum up the process within one month at every cost
● Introduce concept of Informal orientation for first years where they can be open and
learn more about NCC and it's functioning
● Following conventional 3 step selection procedure, sum it up
Informal Freshers -
● Have an informal Freshers for making a rapport and Ice Breaking
IC Team selection
● Ensure proper formation of IC teams
● Take into account skills required specific to teams, Prior Experience and Motivation
towards work
● Make the process Transparent and Accountable
● If possible introduce concept of Associates for first years, so that they get better idea
about teams and can handle better when selected as Heads or Sub - heads
Competitions -
● Organise various college level competitions like Declamation, Essay writing to make
NCC more active and give LOAs to participants
October - November ● After regular Ground practices, encourage Cadets to give selection procedures for
various Camps
● Ensure Participation of NCC LSR in activities Organised by Unit and Directorate
● Organise 2 - 3 ground activities like Skit, Cleanliness drives and Awareness Campaigns,
visits to Under privileged areas to understand social dynamics
● Start preparation for Fests as December will have Exams
● Nominal submission will take place, so ensuring the process is speedy and doubts are
clarified to reduce errors
January 2025 ● Start actively preparing for upcoming Fest season focusing on all Competitions so that
Cadets get better experience and exposure
● Start buckling up for Veerangana and practices for Shauryavath
● Start with the Decor process
● Get approvals for Pre Veerangana events
Miscellaneous
● Make NCC more Inclusive and Transparent
● Make sure that every voice is heard
● Encourage cross functionality in IC Teams
● Take forward the legacy of NCC LSR and work and therwby Excel on high standards set by seniors
● Make sure that Proper Work distribution is there in Rank panel as well IC Teams
● Encourage Cadets to work on overall Personality development
● Work in the direction of Culminating NCC and Career choices of Cadets, so that it helps them in long term and
therefore integrate and find common areas
● Ensure that Cadets have good bondings and foster healthy growth mindset
● Ensure clear and quicker Information dissemination
● Circulate anonymous forms every month to gather grievances and work on them
● Collect ideas and encourage brain storming sessions among Cadets and collect their ideas in an Idea dump Sheet
● Organise new Events like movie streaming say Lakshya or something related to ethos of NCC
● Encourage cadets to ask queries and be more open in NCC
